After playing the first Saw game and being quite surprised by it I decided to cover the sequel „Saw 2 Flesh and Blood“. Despite going in thinking I’ll have some fun reliving the saw movies, it did not turn out well… #horror #saw
I wanna play a game, you spent your life playing video games disconnecting yourself from reality, wishing to be in another world all while wasting your potential, now you have 60 seconds before the bombs surroundings this room explode in order to survive you must do the most difficult task you've had to face, a task you've been avoiding your entire life. You must go outside and touch grass. The clock is ticking.
@terrencepoinsett4169 Oh yeah the game was super fun with its janky quick time event "combat" and repetitive puzzles. People like you would be entertained by paint drying. I should jingle some keys in front of you. You would call it a masterpiece. Instant 10/10 super fun.
I still remember till this day my cousin told me to download this game as he said it was fun then we got up to the part where you cut the eye, then next thing you know my parents walk in and start shouting at us while i begin to cry🤣 Good times bruh
Yeah, no, I would NOT have reccomended this game. Having loved the first game to the point I gave you tips... I cannot bring myself to reccomended this game because of the poor gameplay, regardless if you like the Saw/continuity.
I’m pretty sure the trap flashbacks are really just meant to show what traps those objects are from and what those traps could do. The reason Campbell doesn’t lose health from walking on glass is because he’s wearing shoes. It’s not hard to figure that out, so I have no idea how you missed that.
@@hoodlum1What other issues? All the dude’s complaints are literally so nit-picky. I don’t wanna make it same like this game is GOTY award but his “critiques” are actually so childish and small. It makes it seem like he just wanted to be negative for a video so he mostly went after animation nitpicks instead of any story complaints or game features Edit: This isn’t to say all his complaints are bad tho. Like I said, this game definitely is GOTY worthy. Just most of his complaints were used to make this video go past a 2 minute mark 2nd edit: Imo, he should just put the nit-picks he has at the end of the video if he really wants to put them in the video so bad but to disguise them as actual critiques is crazy
@@JollyFellownotreally bro this game is low rated asf and literally bad in every aspect you are like 1 in a million who thinks its actually worth defending
Ok there's something I wanna point out, the reason Campbell doesn't take damage from the glass on the floor is because he's actually wearing shoes, I guess you didn't notice when filming, ps despite the hate both saw games get personally I love both of them
There are full lets plays of both Saw games on the Super Beard Bros channel, definitely my favorite way to watch this absolute abortion of a game series 😂
The shotgun carousel part took me so long and I only beat it after doing the same thing I did the other 40 times (this time the shitty detection didn’t fail me last second). Also, I didn’t have to worry about Campbell being alive for the ending since the plank walk balancing was so bad I insta fell to my death. 10/10 game.
The Two saw games will always be my guilty pleasures. I liked them even with their CLEAR bad sides, maybe nostalgia or something, but i Will Always like them
This. It was super jank, but it was shovel-ware made with people who at least wanted to make a decent game. The first had character, but the 2nd is a shell of ideas with no execution D:
No matter what the creators of the games have said they are not canon to the movies Tapp f***ing died in the first film. He was shot in the chest and died Zepp stuck around long enough to see it happen. There was nobody in the tunnels who could've save Tapp. There's also the Full Disclosure Documentary from the Saw 2 DVD. In it the newscaster says that Tapp and Zepp were never found. The game takes place a few months after the first movie and the second took place before the second movie. In other words the video game aren't canon at all.
@@lerdog I'm aware what I said above is for the people out there who will say the games are canon. I've encountered people before who say that and it annoys me to no end. Tapps body is the one we see in Saw 2 aka the replacement for Adam. Yes I'm one of the people who believe Adam is still alive there are so many clues supporting that
@@Frank074 considering the corpse in Saw 2 is different no he's not. Tapps body was never seen in any of the later movies when down in the tunnels. We know that Zepp Killed Tapp not far from the bathroom game. It could've been moved also look at the corpse in Saw 2 Zepps corpse still had some of his facial features despite rotting but Adam looks entirely different and he died after Zepp. Also the chain was on the wrong foot this shit honestly wouldn't bother me as much if they had fixed the error when we see the corpse again in Saw 7 and Saw X when we revisit the bathroom. Fixing the error would've convinced me that he was actually dead but there's so many stuff that hints to Adam being alive. It seems so damn unlikely that John didn't leave Adam something to save his own life. Throughout the franchise we see John giving his victims a chance at survival and Adam got nothing. The hacksaw wasn't an escape at all it was but if you look at the tiles that surround the bathtub you can see some sort of dust. It wasn't dust it was cement powder it's so damn likely that there was something hidden for Adam
They ARE canon, but kind of like their own timeline/universe. For example, The Walking Dead TV universes. Until you have a moment where the characters directly cross over, the series can be either seperate entirely or parallel (both happen, but never meet). Like, it's POSSIBLE for a Game character to show up in the TV show, but if it hasn't happened, then the connection hasn't been established. Or, how Tapp and Amanda are in Dead by Daylight. They are OBJECTIVELY the same characters, but they have made their own timeline almost by being transported to the game. The Saw games ARE canon, but until the movies reference them directly, it's sort of their own timeline, using the first movie as a base. They don't necessarily have to be connected.
The biggest question when it comes to movie to game adaptations shouldn’t be _can you do it_ but always _should you do it?_ The first game was decent enough and that should’ve been it. The only good thing I can say about this game is that it opens up Tapp’s character a tad bit more in files and tapes.
The true list is between the lines, Detective. You have 3 minutes to put the pieces together after this message activates. Otherwise, you will not receive a free Xbox from Microsoft on Halloween this year.
Something tells me that they opened up a 3d modeling program and took screenshots of Michael model and that's why there is no background to his face and looks inside a black void.
I actually liked this game, I think I got it for my birthday a few months after it released and I was like 14/15 and I 100% achievemented it like I did with the first game. I really liked the plot twist at the end where the main character would only survive if the false protagonist at the start chose to sacrifice himself. The combat was 100% dreadful though. I'm probably in the minority for liking it though since I also enjoyed all the Saw movies when I first watched them and I think most people think it gets awful after the first one lmao.
I think the trap QTE makes way more sense in this 2nd game compared to the 1st game. How did Tapp magically stop the trap from activating? In the 2nd game, the QTE acts more like a dodge mechanic. If you press the QTEs in time, your character notices the trap and is able to dodge it in time. The 1st game having the trap magically deactivate made less sense to me personally
I remember my Mom bought me this game for my birthday. I sat down and played and realized how terrible it was. When I saw my Mom the next day and she asked me if I enjoyed. Since I couldn't bring myself to lie to her I simply went upstairs, brought my Xbox down, and asked her to play the game with me. About 30 minutes in she said "Wow this game sucks sorry dude." I was crying laughing 😂
Honestly, I would pay top money to get on meeting where people decided that shit like this will be published. I swear, I would pay. Like, how? How can this be published? Who are these people? Who they think we are?
Not trying to be mean but most of your complaints are kind of nit picky. The reason for Campbell for not taking damage from the glass is because he's wearing shoes. The first person part after Campbell lives or dies, is basically to walk around the apartment that detective trap killed himself in from the previous game and the suffocating feeling of having cops down your throat as they search through your dads stuff. You go outside for some fresh air and that's why it just changes from that to third person. But in the point of view and looking at stuff, the game is bad at certain points. But if you look when it was made during it's time. It makes sense, the game is passable at best and it was fun to throw your mind away and go through the traps as a fan of the movies. If you go in looking for a good game, your not going to have fun.
I used to ask the teacher if I could use the bathroom as a kid because I would stick my hand down the toilet and pretend I was in SAW, pulling out keys while trying not to get injected with needles. This game is nostalgic to me just for that one reason.😊
