Saw Doctors - Sing A Powerful Song 1991 

I turned up (from Wales) at the Trip To Tipp in '92. Not knowing much about the band it was amazing to see the audience air-punching and belting every song out. Party time!

Thank you for posting this video. In the summer of 1997, a couple of Irish teenagers were here in Portland, Maine, working as restaurant servers. They told us the music by The Saw Doctors was gathering steam and respect across Ireland. Over the next few years, I chased them from Boston to Denver to San Francisco, always bringing friends to see the band - always having a blast! Many live shows, across many years, I continue to believe Sing a Powerful Song is one of the most fun, authentic albums ever. So a simple ‘thank you’ to the boys in the band for creating such joy in my world…

I remember that weekend in Tuam. It was the best weekend ever. The atmosphere was brilliant. It will never be equalled. I was only 18
