From an herbalist perspective, we would only harvest 1/3 to 1/10 at the most. And that is how we strictly have taught our students for countless generations.

It’s detrimental to the wildlife that depend on the annual food source. 5. The plants are protected within the boundaries. 6. The state classifies the plant as a commercially exploited native species.
