My mother found a stack of boards that my great grandfather had had a sawmill cut to use as side boards for his flatbed farm trailer. As far as we know he died before he used the boards. They have been stored dry in a barn for 104 years, my mom had a talented woodworker turn these boards into a dining table.( some of the saw marks were left on the underside of the table)
That tree must have extended into the stratosphere. Those cherries could only be picked by a man wearing a jet pack. I grafted one thirty years ago and it’s pretty big but nowhere near as big. Maybe a century? Mine got cherry fruit flies and now every one has a big disgusting worm in it.
@@markgalicic7788 Read the charging instructions carefully for that power pack. Some items require you to wait until their charge is empty before recharging for maximum battery life if you keep charging them with half supply left the batteries won't last as long especially if it has lithium batteries inside.
I just discovered your channel a few days ago, and have really enjoyed a few of your videos so far. I watched the video where you sawed that huge black walnut. I heard you mention that you were in Western, PA, about 30 miles south of Outdoor with the Morgans. I have been following them for a couple of years. I was born and raised in Beaver, PA, but moved to North Carolina in 1975 when I got out of the Army. I still have a sister that lives in Butler, and several nieces and nephews in Beaver, and in the Butler area. I get back to PA every couple of years or so, and even after all the years I still consider Beaver my home. I am fascinated with what you do, and will continue to watch your videos. Thanks for sharing your craft with us!
Thanks for showing my plates. I am glad that you got something out of that big log. It is suppose to be over 50 here for Christmas. I am way up north in Wisconsin so Santa may just do a flyby with a drop. I will have to check the yard in the morning. Your followers sure have been good to you this year. It is always good to see you. Thanks for the video.
Another great video Mark. Never a dull moment, always enjoy, and learn stuff. Lot of knowledge from you three guys... Have a wonderful festive Holiday and i will catch you on the next one :)
Happy Christmas morning to Mark and the gang. What's better to do than watch Mark put a log through the mill. I worked as a climber for about 20 years. I remember the back of the chip truck smelling like cherry brandy after we chipped the limbs.
It was ugly but you showed how beautiful the wood could be. I never thought I would enjoy watching logs cut in boards. I'm watching this from Hamilton, Ontario, Canada 😎🇨🇦🇺🇲🙏
Ohhhh that middle end looked terrible! Still it was fun Mark and company! Thanks guys! Be safe during the holiday season! We got some goofy people on the roads!
Merry Christmas To all of you and your families! Mark, you need to take advantage of that bus motor next to you and install at least a 3000 watt inverter to its battery bank..... You would be able to power 800 watts of lights and most everything else you need! Way better than a separate generator running on gas!
Merry Christmas to all of you and your families. This log is indeed big and ugly, but like a swan or a diamond in the rough the beauty is on the inside.
Nie lumber but you just had to grind the rest away to get it. Happy happy to all yall and we got plenty of good rain falling. No fires but in the stove. God Bless!
Your welcome guys!! Merry Christmas thanks for all of the videos and the education that comes with them. Some of the logs may be ugly but the finished product is very nice every time. Stay safe. Big Nasty.... 🤦😂😂
Livonia you say! I listen to WION in its AM stereo glory (online lol since I am not nearby). shango066 had a special about them, a studio tour and how they are a true hometown radio station which I love.
Eight o’clock in the morning them were nice boards till you hit the rotten bit, I’m making some feet for gee clamps before I go for Christmas dinner to the farm , told I have to bring Suzy they’ve something for her the two jack Russell’s can guard the cottage, anyway you guys have a nice day
Mark it sounds to me like you have bacteria contamination in your fuel. Never had that problem until the environmental regulations took the sulfur out of diesel. Wonderful age we live in. Gov. always improving things so we can enjoy the after effects.❤😅
Great video good sirs. We often look for animal shapes in the logs. Did you notice that time mark 17.55 a lovely frog was sawn and at 23.42 a crocodile was sent to its maker. Thanks, have a great boxing day holiday and stay safe and warm. Patrick
