Mark & crew.. very nice operation you have assembled, the whole process is well organized & speaks of much experience. Thankyou very much for the education & laid back flow, pretty darn nice.
Thank you gentlemen for another great oak sawing video. It is always a treat to see the beautiful oak 4/4 lumber that you recover while processing the bulk of the log into the 3x6 blocking order. Mark you have developed great skill in running that mill but you have also developed a keen eye for maximizing the yield of quality lumber from some lower grade logs. It is truly amazing to see the amount of really nice lumber that you are able to generate from less than perfect logs! Thanks again!
Good job Mark and Eddie and crew...from one sawyer to another..isnt it amazing how we can look at a log and get what we want...sometimes it works out perfect
Hello again Mark and the boys, I was watching you cut that beautiful oak log into blocking (we call it dunnage up here) and my inner woodworker was cringing! I’m in western Canada and we don’t have oak trees here it broke my heart knowing this was essentially going to be used as waste wood. Every time I see a hardwood crate or pallets sitting somewhere I’m in the office asking if I can salvage them for the wood. But hey, when a species is easy to obtain it becomes just another piece of wood, right? I’ll bet you would think of Douglas fir as an exotic wood but here it is as common as oak is in your neighbourhood Thanks again for sharing with us gentlemen, may your only slivers be a small piece of apple pie! Regards Mel from Quesnel
Ye olde Bus Motor just flat out don't care what 's on the de4ck. It says 'BRING IT ON' in a most delightful way! Thanks, Mark and crew. Happy weekend & GBWYall!!
Hey guys! I know you can sharpen the teeth of that blade several times. How long will the saw itself last before you have to replace that part? I know those cannot be cheap. Thanks for the content!
Thank you Mark thank you Eddie thank you ZZ mark I enjoyed the show today I am very interested in watching John Clark's New railroad track he's putting in in his sawmill I didn't know that you needed a track that long to saw a log surprising me I can't wait to see him start sawing them gigantic logs I'm waiting with him participation I'm excited mark
I was just thinking about the name for the Turner. You've got "Mr. Laser", why not just "Mrs. Turner".... Name of one of my elementary teachers. She had her sharp points and could gouge you and take out chunks also... LoL...
Mark, what are the second set of dogs used for? They sit above the ones you use and seem to never be put to work. Thanks for all the great sawing, be well.
They are for larger cants when the lower dogs can’t lift high enough to get a bite, the lower set are pushed back by the can’t and the top dogs make the bite
Hi Mark. I really enjoy your channel very much. But please, stop saying boom. Itis so f+++ing anoying and childish. How old are you, 6 years? And yes, I know you do not like criticisme, but take is a man and not a preteen.
