I sure appreciate that. These logs here were so small I didn't need to do a lot of math while sawing. With the help it was the best day I've had sawing yet. Thanks for watching and commenting.
I notice you have the exhaust of that screaming Detroit aimed directly at your little shack. Course you are probably already deaf anyway... Hey watch your step there fella! Glad you got back up. It had to hurt. Cussing always makes it better. You are a brave man. That last cut was a little close. Not many of those old circle mills left. Most people have gone to band saws.
I'm not family, I kinda came with the sawmill. I watched it when Mike McCoy had it. I am fascinated by stuff like that. I must say you are already as good or better than Mike was on that thing.
I'm new to the channel and I heard about your channel from Mark up in Pennsylvania. I'm just a little older than you and sometimes we have to keep an open mind and a good work ethic to keep ourselves goin. Enjoyed the video
Thanks Gary, our local sawmiller for the past 40 yrs passed away about four years ago. He died peacefully while filing the bits on his mill. He was 94 yrs old and still sawing three to five hours a day. He started sawmilling when he was 50 so I thought what a great way to stay in shape for another 40 years. I appreciate you watching and commenting.
@@templehillsawmill1748 you're very welcome. I built a band saw mill some years back even though I'm disabled and hadn't ever run one but I helped my dad out on his WOODMIZER so I had some ideas on what to do and I learned much more about it afterwards.
I appreciate it. I sure had a good time sawing. Everything ya'll did to the Saw sure made a dramatic impact on the entire process. I appreciate it so much.
I sure appreciate you saying that. I had the saw hammered by Andrew's Lumber and he put new bits on it to. Tremendous improvement on the operation. Thanks for watching and commenting
You're not listening. Move your camera till your guys are unloading. I want to see That view. Where the blade goes into this log. And the slab comes off.
