It looks so easy when you do it! I've finished my first t-shirt quilt thanks to your videos on binding.. I'm in love with quilting, and already have fabric for the next two rag quilts. I hope one day I'll get to this level of precision and neat edges!

Yeah! Great to see you posting videos! I needed this one because I'm in the 1st step of making sawtooth stars for my first "real" quilt. I also just watched your making 2 flying geese sets at the same time video which was very helpful. The one I'm dreaming about though is the sampler BOM quilt that you have hanging often behind you. I found your 2011? Blog post about it but I cannot find the pattern on the website that I finally tracked down.

I’m totally stuck. I made the large quilt block, but I can’t figure out the measurements for the smaller one. Like for the flying geese and all. Help! Are the measurements for that somewhere? I know it’s a 6 inch block, but what are the flying geese measurements?

Total noob here. Do you cut the center block to 6.5" or do you cut it adding a 1/4" seam?

I'm getting a bit confused between the video and the chart on the blog. I want to make the 12 inch block with the 3.5x6.5 flying geese. The chart says this would require 7.5 and a 4.5 big and little squares but in the video it says 3.5 and 6.5. am I getting this mixed up? Thank you!
