He is so humble & obviously a cool person, he’s probably sad & glad at the same time , in thinking about the recent loss of his friend Tina Turner . They certainly complimented each other with a musical chemistry & emotional chemistry that you could feel just watching them perform. So sorry for your loss. And Thanks Tim for your talent & inspiration.❤😊👍
@@melatomic God Bless Tina, can you imagine your boss telling you on Monday morning that your going to start wearing a cod pierce as part of your new uniform!!! LMFAO
He got in shape after touring with Ringo and other huge artists but struggling with a heroin addiction. He was inspired to change by his niece being horrified by his state and spent the early 80’s building up his body and his career continued to flourish. He’s a really, genuinely nice guy.
@@morganssmashingpearls3329 because he is a man with the balls...not like nowadays boys-dolls who sit only at hairdressers... Nowadays "culture" (it is rather lack of culture at all in my opinion) is rubbish, bullshit, junk and going to nowhere. Nowadays it is even hard to see charismatic looking person on the street - they are all with no taste, no balls, no charisma, looking messy, clumsy and dirty. No class, no anything...
Tim talks about himself being a supporting act, but as a kid growing up in the 80's, Tims saxophone playing was iconic. He was a huge part of the sound of the 80's. I'm now in my mid 50's and Tim plays with my favourite band, GUNSHIP, and he's incredible.. He's an absolute legend...
Was lucky enough to see Tina Turner and Timmy perform live back in the early 80s. It was a fantastic concert! Randomly crossing paths with TT in Zurich was on my bucket list but sadly she passed away 3 months before I got to Zurich. Hope TT is entertaining the angels now. 🥰
When I watched Lost Boys when it first came out I thought he was the most sexy man I had ever seen.. The oiled up sax man that had his few minutes of fame I love that song..I Still Believe He still has it going on for his age
He is the real deal. Nobody rocks the sax harder. Dude is a 67 yr old grandpa and is in better shape than 30 yr old soy boys. His album "blood on the reed" is high levels of kick ass. Everyone needs to hear the epic 2020s version of "I still believe". If conan the barbarian and clarence Clemmons combined with the road warrior...you would get Tim Cappello.
Tina singing Private Dancer ...and at the moment that there's only music, dancing and chilling around Tim while he makes the saxo sound. That is an iconic and the sexiest part of that song. ❤❤❤❤ Miss Tina.
wow...... he looks great still. was in TINA TURNERS band a long time & on EVERY world tour, CAN be seen in most of her videos. i been a fan of BOTH since the 80's. major stud muffin back in the day 😀😎💪
Love you Tim Tim. I still believe in codpieces! Good interviewer. I liked the Interview. Good job at being a human being and good job with being good at your job.
Gotta follow Tim Capello, so much fun, talent, he also seems both humble but confident as a genuine human. If you haven't heard Gunship he has slayed on a few of their songs lately.
This guy is a legend: an exemplar musician and human being. He knew to go through the business and take care of his body and mind. Huge respect for him.
I wonder if he and Tina could do one more gig , just a short one for old time sake ? Excellent advice and fabulous history . He can show the young ones what it takes . Us older ones know and admire and respect . Such a gracious man . Yes I will buy his CD and I’m 70 .🎷🦢🎷
I know I Still Believe is probably what most people know, but for me I could listen to his solo on One of The Living all day and never get tired of it! Definitely a legend! 😎
I've known tim over 20 year's he's a good person with a big heart . Last I seen him was July 4th went to a BBQ at his place. I played a drum solo for 20 mins outside lots of good people there
Tim looks exactly the same here as he does in all his other interviews/performances from the last DECADE! And this is him on a local show. Usually, local news is the final destination for aging b-list celebrities. Desperately wringing out those last few precious drops of social relevance from their dried up and spent careers, like a thirsty geriatric vampire who just needs one last taste of their former glory, right before they finally burst into flames under the blinding heat of the studio lights... But not Tim Cappello. He's got the talent of every muse in mythology, combined. The humility of a saint, the abs of a gladiator, and the metabolism of a Galapagos tortoise. This man is going to outlive us all, and look DAMN GOOD doing it. I'm pretty sure they need to edit the Bible because of Tim. It's not going to be trumpets playing during Armageddon, it's gonna be Tim's saxophone. :)
Young Tim was the hottest sax player, not the best, but really hot. Still oiling up!!!! He was perfect with the perfect Tina Tuner!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I LOVE sax and it's so sad that the sax is dismissed in today's music!!!
