Hi Hugo. This is an awesome boat. Enclosed and open. Even at 190k full package. Folding wings to enlarge the cockpit. Well worth the money. Great walkthrough video tour thanks 😊
I've been following you for weeks trying to find the right boat for my family. I was looking at the Axopar 37 XC, but this is much cheaper with all the goodies. Thanks for the videos!
Thank you Hugo for this nice show of the Saxdor 320GTC what a boat this is in compare with the open one what you shows us earlier nice de folding deks on the side I think you can put a diesel outboard behind this boat so you only need one tank of fuel for everything
Good price. Reckon they will go like hotcakes. I prefer it to the bigger version. Unfortunately I doubt i will see a used one on the Australian market in time for me to buy. But I can dream. Maybe in 5 years when used ones come on the market.
It's a nice boat, not spectacular but ok however someone needs to give Saxdor a slap for charging £4500 for sliding side windows and for considering bow cushions as extras.
@@PhilbyFavourites in all seriousness it’s a nice boat and it’s pretty cheap in comparison to others in the class but it just gets daft when nearly everything is an option and necessary things like opening windows cost 4.5k
It’s the Porsche sales model. Any thing they know a customer will really want becomes an option at a substantial premium. There is also the matter of making the windows not only waterproof but wave proof, so it’s not like buying windows for the house.
@@robinvassor37 Better than an Axopar 37 when even the separate toilet is an option. I am a massive fan of this boat but agree that a shower and also a roof rack option for storage would finish it off.
Yeah, agree, roof rack, shower and enclosed toilet and it would be perfect. Unfortunately it's not possible to tow it, as it's 10 cm to wide (at least for Poland)
How the heck do you get to your fenders on the side of the boat? I guess out the window. Makes handling difficult when you can't walk on each side. But the extra room is really nice. Always a trade-off.
Is this trailerable with the beam being 10 ft wide? I know 2.6 is the legal width limit but I see people towing beams with 10 ft width all the time and it confuses me
Would love to see these outboard boat with an diesel outboard option such as 2 pcs OXE. Also on the antaras 11, MF 1095 and so on. Where I live it is not many marinas have petrol. But the OXE outboard are quite heavy compare with a set of verados.
I think that offset wheelhouses, or as in this case full beam wheelhouse are a backwards step in terms of accessibility. I would rather have a Botnia Targa or similar with port and starboard side doors close to the helm, and walkaround decks either side. Of course this is at the expense of some cabin space, but for close quarters handling can't be beaten.
Love the lay out and out of the box design. But, honestly I don't see how that boat can cost that little, even with the cheap Jeanneau-esque cabinetry. I would expect numerous QC issues. That roof looks like a disaster waiting to happen.
Overpriced. £4K for sliding windows that should be part of the standard package in my opinion. A gap that size at the top of that toilet door had me in stitches
Does anyone care about insulation for cold weather boating? It's a super impressive for the price. It is amazing. However boats in general tend to ignore, three of the four seasons we have here...as in Ireland, where I'm from, Scotland, where he mentioned the boat was from, or England, where he sounds like he's from...but basically the entire north half of Europe, all of Canada, and basically almost all of the USA. I'm not trying to say a boat like this is bad, because for the price, it's super. But if you've ever been in a warm house with poor insulation, or patches of poor insulation, then you know about kold and how hard it is to get out. It will literally dif itself into surfaces like plaster, concrete, and ceiling boards. I know this from first had experience of literally digging into a concrete wall, and a ceiling board, on separate occasions, and finding mold dug in a good few millimetres. Any cleaning fluids won't work when it's inbedded into the concrete itself.
Looks cracking! Wonder why they didn't go for a proper full beam cabin and ditch those silly side decks? With through screen access they could have squeezed another foot at least of width into it.
I agree why have side decks you cant use, That would widen the front through door . The front sun deck should be reduced and moved forward to allow for a shower and more headroom . Also I would like the switch for the sun roof infront of the captain. Otherwise this is a great first offering.
Alright. Can't take it. Both you and Aquaholic have the same vernacular. Could someone please tell me what "funky" means to these people? Because it definitely isn't the same in the States.
None of these boats including nimbus and axopar would be popular in the US mainly due to the fact that they're really not set up to do fishing. TARGA and Arctic come closest to being fishy
If I may add from a UK perspective. Fishing is seen as dirty messy and smelly in UK. You NEVER see a nice fishing boat that has been used for fishing, they are usually the scrubbiest boat in the marina. Personally I love your centre console fishers, but in UK a partner (male or female) would leave their significant other if they covered the boat with fish guts. It’s a cultural difference. Here it’s incredibly “blokey” and I’ve never seen a female on a chartered fishing trip, although there must be some. Must go - got to go to Waitrose to get my fish for supper 🤓🤓👍🏻👍🏻
It is about the right price, it just isn't really worth the money unless you are looking for a fast day boat that can handle inclement weather. For a little more money you can get a Sargo 28 which is more of a weekender/fishing option that is reasonably quick too.
I can see why you prefer the Sargo 28 as it's more heavy duty . but I think the cabin is a bit cramped and the Saxdor is better for water sports and would be nicer on a sunny day. Both boats have there advantages over the other , but I would go for Saxdor.
What a great boat. It offers so many of the features I’d love in a over weekend boat. Could stay on this thing comfortably for a week just exploring the coastline. That wheel house with all its features. Amazing. The use of space. Those fold down sides. Brah. Sign me up. If I could have a boat for me and 3 others to do a week on. This is it
I watched the GTO a few months ago and was disappointed. Look at the quality of the upholstery. There is still a lot to improve on for the people of Poland. The roof should be made of glass with a mosquito screen like in a North Star for example. For a boat in this price range the front cabin is very small and it is a pity that there is no bathroom to take a shower.
a very beautiful boat,3 foward seats is nice as well, axopar seats right next to each other kinda crampy and not comfortable sitting rubbing elbows with your buddy(not always with signif other) This boat will be a big hit!!
Interesting have prices increased over last year or are US buyers getting shafted from either importing or greed because MarineMax is offering these for @$330,000 US. Pretty far off the 190,000 pounds mentioned
It stands alone but on larger yachts I could not imagine a better tender or pilot boat. One slight criticism but its minor, is there is no suspension on the pilot seats. Is there handles in the pilot house for smashing waves? Probably is and I did not see them. Sure seat suspension ould be added. Gorgeous and affordable.
The price is great, but having looked at the new Sargo 28 earlier today, which is smaller, yet has 2 comparable double cabins, a proper head, a nicer dinette with a microwave as well as the 2 burner diesel hob, and still puts all of that in a cabin that gives complete walkaround access to the entire boat, it just didn't feel like you'd actually gained anything in such a huge sacrifice as losing that walkaround access. I think they'd invested so much into giving a larger cabin, and then completely failed to make it a comfortable and inviting one, compared to other choices. Good tour, but as for the boat itself, well, Sargo, Botnia Targa, and Nordstar seem much stronger options in a similar category and price range.
Additionally, this weighs 2650kg, and the Targa 28 weighs 4400kg, again almost twice as much. I think you're grouping it wrong. This is more similar to Axopar.
@@mikaelangeloh2316 you don't seem to understand the word 'range'. A range can be 'under 500k' or '150k to 300k', both of which would be examples applicable here. It is all a matter of scales. What is the most expensive 32 footer available in the world, and when looking at that scale, could these be said to be in a similar (not identical) range. Yes. Yes they could.
@@britishknightakaminininja1123 Semantics is one thing, and I still say that when one is almost twice as expensive across the board, it's not a similar price range. But mostly I'm saying that on a practical level you shouldn't be grouping this with the other 3. The other 3 are very similar in price, weight, and type. They're tall, heavy, expensive SUVs. The Saxdor is a low, light, cheap sports boat, that just happens to look a little bit like the others on the outside. But like the other commenter said, apples and pairs.
@@mikaelangeloh2316 well, when comparing green fruits that can be eaten without peeling, have juices that can be made into cider, why should you not compare apples and pairs? It was a stupid thing to say, and is no better to bring up again.
amazing boat at the right price, but some solutions are not practical in my opinion... 1) in the front you don't need a full walk-around; on the right side it would have been much better to have a continuation of the sunbed... it would have more space to lay down and underneath the cabin would be more spacious. 2) the toilet needs to be a full toilet with a shower and drainage 3) Love the sides in the back That comes down but that raised border ruines the look and might be annoying when used... you can't sit there with your legs hanging and relaxing and have to be careful not to hit it with your feet/toes... can be painful
Nice boat but when compared to the Axopar 37, access is compromised when docking given there is no side door but other than i think the layout is very cleverly done
@@stuartbaker6339 yes..that area needs work. Does need the a shower, but if there’s none, would prefer something other than carpet for flooring in that space….a few gentlemen aren’t exactly straight shooters
@@libatako I've been on the GTC in person now and although there are obvious areas that need improvement in design and quality, overall it's very good package it's well worth the price . Went on the Axopar 22 as well and massive improvement over the 24. Both companies have boats that I would purchase as you are getting a lot for your money.
