There are a ton of articles that talk about the role of exercise for weight loss and management, and many of them report inconsistent results. I realize that I may have provided somewhat outdated information about physical activity for weight maintenance since most of the studies that supported it were done in the 1990s. This systematic review is more recent, and it summarizes results from multiple studies. It also talks about the levels of exercise needed to maintain weight loss. And those are A LOT. spectrum.diabetesjournals.org/content/30/3/157?TrendMD&Diabetes_Spectr_TrendMD_1
I’ve been using Saxenda for 3 months and I’ve lost 11kg so far. I have not changed my diet and I have not been exercising. I intend on adding exercise now🙏🏿
Thanks. I’m new to Saxenda and I’m blown away by the immediate weight loss happening. I was wondering what will happen when I reach my weight loss goal. So this video was apt. Thanks.
Same, I lost 7Ibs in the first week. I didn’t overeat before and even wondered if I had leptin or insulin resistance so perhaps this is why it’s working faster for me?
@@JanetMacCallum omg that’s a very interesting point. I stopped back then due to funding and am now back on. I start week 3 tomorrow I am 12lb down. Over the moon. Im starting to see a difference as well now, my belly is almost flat.
I am starting Saxenda tomorrow. I weigh about 210 lbs. I should weigh 150,. I'm 5'6" and almost 58. I can't wait until my next wave of willpower kicks in.
You are right but you use it as a Tool and not a solution! Dieting, exercise, & sleep. Also portion control! I'm a meal planner and it works for me! We all can do it!! Trust God !!❤❤ Thank you for sharing.😁👏
I have been on Saxenda for a year. I have lost 62 pounds. I exercise every day. I have also changed the way I eat. I follow in Mediterranean diet I don’t eat frozen meals because of the sodium content. I do not eat luncheon meats because of the nitrates. I have cut down on potatoes, red meat. And no sugar absolutely none. When I’m hungry in between meals I eat vegetables no dip. On my salads I cheat I put some cheese in it, and no creamy salad dressing because they are high in calories and fat. And absolutely no fast food. Because of this change my cholesterol levels are normal my heart is healthy. It’s all been good.
The black box FDA warning on this product (based on the scientific trials) was enough to put me off Saxenda, weighing up the risk of cancer to loosing weight? 🙄 I think I will give it a miss.
What I want to know is why does it work better for some people? I weighed myself when I started and I was 92.8. Now I’m 90.8kg. In maybe three or four days
All of weight loss is somewhat individual. On the same diet, some people lose a lot of weight and some dont lose at all. And when you start dietary restriction (which is what Saxenda results in) there is usually a quick water loss, followed by small weight loss that comes easy. Things usually slow down after it, and that's not a bad thing, as you can tell from my Week 6 video. Best of luck!
So do we start with 0.6 once a week or is it everyday? also can you take phenq for appetite suppressant? On my BMI states Im Obese im over 33% over my weight. Ive been trying to loose weight but it never goes down from 168. to 164 then goes up again . but i'm continuing exercising and dieting no carbs no dairy no juices or sodas
I am on saxenda and I cannot eat at all. And when I do eat it does not digest and leaves me feeling uncomfortable and I have to bring out my food . I do exercise but not sure what I am doing wrong . Second month
Saxenda suppressed my appetite a lot but I lost hardly any weight over 5 weeks even though my calorie intake was 1200 a day. I see lots of people who are unhappy.
I’ve been eating between 900 and 1300 cals a day for 3 months and lost 7lbs . I’ve started saxenda and have lost 3lbs in 2 weeks , I’m hoping it will help increase my obviously slow metabolism
Jeez 10 days? What do you expect? There isn't no magic drug that will make you lose weight super fast and let say if there was a drug that can do that. It's extremely unhealthy. Unfortunately I have go break it to you even if ozempic is working better or great for you. You will eventually fail. That's because you way you think.
Same. I did 6 weeks of ozempic with zero side effects and lost 12kg (down to 82kg). The saxenda has reduced my appetite like the ozempic, except it’s achieved more from feeling queasy and not just a full/satiated sensation like I had on ozempic. The pharmacists in my country are predicting the ozempic shortage to affect availability for non-priority patients until 2025 🤯
I will start taking Saxenda next month , I'm currently a 31 BMI. for the past year I have managed keeping my weight study 1 kg more in one week and then I plan better my meals and loose that kilo that went up. My question is if this will help me on keeping the weight off after I stop taking the medication which I plan to take it for 6 months at least.
