That's true, it's a new song and it really just blew me away. Admit it! was actually one of my favorite songs. What's better yet is that their second album wasn't a let-down so they're over that hump.
Surprisingly, I really enjoyed the acoustic version. I think I might even prefer it over the album. Jake cracks me up... especially when he says go analogue baby and oh we're not worthy. I love it. Parker's "Whoa's" are great. And lastly, of course, Bemis is god.
you know when I first listened to this song on the album I always skipped it because I thought it was just dumb. Not until I actually listened to the wole thing song did I realize its my favorite song on the album. Say anything is amazing, Listen to all there songs through and you a guarenteed to love it.
LOVE THIS SONG. love the acoustic version too, it has so much different parts en random stuff inbetween ^_^ 5:10 , totally my fave part from there on.. and the end is just amazing! 8D

i love 1:45 when they battle for that line kinda max say's it although i don't think he was supposed to i don't know his name, but i love seeing the guitarist laugh and enjoy this so much same way i play
yeah I agree. especially "urges unfulfilled" at 5:07. thats like the best part of the whole song and he kinda. just. eh. say anything still owns your face tho... :3
Actually the thing he does with his tongue infulences the way his voice sounds. So his tongue thing makes him sound unique. There aren't many people that sound like him are there? Also notice, no one else does sticks their tongue out like he does is there? :P

I love it when the band sounds good live and not live. :) .... the Acoustic guitarist didn't sound as enthused as he did on the Cd though, but still good. :)
Max does look/sound like Dane, but the deciding factor is that Max is more passionate and Jewish :D And Dane's weight fluctuates according to how much he gets paid for a movie. Max's weight is always a consistent, "slightly chubby but not quite." This song pwns so many people that it isn't funny. I wish this were my school's alma mater >.>
Like the highschool jocks who made their lives a living hell? Max Bemis (and the rest of us) know that pretentiousness and douchebaggery are not OWNED by the hipsters this song is about, those are just the assholes he spent the most time around when he was growing up in LA and working on becoming a professional musician. In fact I would say Bemis is probably the exact kind of kid who likes emo but who still does his own thing. In fact, thats what the new CD In Defense of the Genre is all about.
i wasn't intending any sort of insult, i didn't even expect the guy to be "emo", and as he said, he wasn't. it was more a joke than anything, and i should have remembered that most statements regarding emos usually bring up a lot of arguments. anyways, it is in fact, my opinion, that this song was directed at those whom i previously spoke of, and it is my experience with those people that lead me to believe this is so, so i apologize for the generalization i made.
