We only burn or remove the bad veins (which are not helping in circulation). So the blood circulation which is being taken care by deeper veins continues as earlier.

You may continue with stockings regularly. If the veins increase in size or there is skin pigmentation or swelling or ulcer, the veins need to be treated at the earliest

With all these therapies will the muscles become weak in the future. Is it true.

The treatment done is in superficial veins (which are just beneath the skin) and are not related to muscles in any way. So treating these veins will not lead to any muscle weakness. However, if the vein problem has been there for a very long time, the muscles become weak as they are overloaded with more blood to push and poor vein function.

Varithena is just a method of sclerotherapy in which ready-made micro foam sclerotherapy is used! It can't be used as sole method of treatment: maybe combined with laser or glue. Sir i have only solitay incompetent perforator 15cm below knee. GSV is fine. So, i need only schlerotherapy of the perforating vein or need RFA of gsv pls advise.

Treatment of perforator wil depend on your symptom & sign. If there is pigmentation, skin ulcer or large veins, then sclerotherapy may be required. However, a repeat doppler may be done to reconfirm saphenous vein reflux, in which case RFA, Laser or Glue may be necessary

Even though veins are seen below the knee, in majority of people, the starting point of these varicose veins is from the groin. That can be evaluated by a doppler and then Laser/ Glue along with sclerotherapy/ hook phlebectomy would be required

Usually, glue is used in the thigh vein whereas hook phlebectomy or sclerotherapy is required for the larger and smaller bunches of vein in leg. After treatment, they will become hard and then gradually dissolve over 2 to 3 months.
