@@shozafar3167 Spoilers: No, presumably, she went back to the farmhouse to see if Dina stayed for her. Not only would that be following through on the cutscene where Ellie leaves Dina, but it would also be odd to have Ellie and Dina see each other again off-screen. This is off topic, but, the ending seems to want to convey that Ellie has lost everything, including Dina, when Ellie has seemingly cleared her conscience about not being able to save Joel, and transcended her rage by letting Abby live. And Ellie and Dina have 0 reasons not to still love one another. Yet the ending gives Ellie the old ‘trail off into the distance’ conclusion. Now you might say: “Ellie didn’t lose Dina and went back to Jackson”. But then, why not show it, and at least end on a bittersweet ending, rather than a bitter one. That leaves me to believe Ellie just wandered off to pursue another life; being supported by the fact she leaves all of her possessions and Joel’s guitar. This is what happens when i make comments in the early morning... my apologies.
Yooo Dom u remember me 😂😂 I’m Flame Boy that u thought was trolling about Abby being friends with Ellie in TLOU2 but btw this is the first time I saw the real Abby 😂💪🏾🔥
Me coming out of my comfort zone to shoot my shot with Cascina is something no do expected this year but hey ho here we go 😂ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-Db6wdCD6LdU.html (P.S it’s all banter)
imagine letting your face be a model for a character in a game, and then you just start getting death threats. I can't believe I'm the same species as humans sometimes.
@@reeseamberr who’s that? The model no one cares about or the bitch voice actor everyone hates. Also people don’t just hate the voice actor for Abby lol. There’s a plethora of bad characters she’s been a part of.
Jocelyn is such a sweet person, It's unfortunate people hate on her just for a character she models in a game. I understand hating the character in the game, but to hate the model and voice actress that plays Abby that's just ridiculous.
I do admit, I had some issues / reservations about Jocelyn because "Abby", but I feel that is the effect the game had over me. It was so intense & "real", you invest your emotions & we as humans need to evolve beyond this knowing logically it was all fiction. I see it as how well the game was made. They wanted us to be involved & we were.
The look on her face when Jocelyn is asked about her worst fear (around 9:28) is the same face in-game Abby makes when looking down from a large height. 😄
I hate the people that bullied and harassed Jocelyn. Look at her being a normal person with a funny personality. She legit acts like the people I hang out with at work.
Not even sure why people hate on Abby... If you have a functional brain and you actually played the whole game, then I feel like you would understand her character at the end. I know I was angry having to play as Abby at first, but as her story progressed, I understood why she did what she did and ultimately wanted her character to live as much as I wanted Ellie to live.
I hated her so much in the game and I wanted to kill her. The same thing could be said if we played as Abby the whole time and Ellie would kill our Father and all of our friends in the game. They are the same character in many ways, we are just more attached to Ellie and Joel. Fuck to everyone who sent death threats to this actress. Get a fucking life.
@@justethan2731 I’m a huge fan of the game (and Abby) and definitely a fan of Jocelyn, but I’m not sure you can really say she did “brilliantly” in TLOU2, considering she didn’t do anything but let them use her face for Abby. She didn’t do the voice acting or mo-cap; that was Laura Bailey, who DEFINITELY did a brilliant job! Also, she’s talented, but not for anything she did on TLOU2. She’s talented for the graphic design/effect work she does and has done on previous Naughty Dog games. Don’t get me wrong; Abby wouldn’t be the same without Jocelyn’s face, no doubt about it. However, even she has said she doesn’t deserve the credit for the Abby character/performance.
Laura Bailey too, its insane. All of the people in these roles are complete angels in real life and one man's decision to write the game a certain way does not AT ALL make shitting on them or threatening them ok.
Not gonna lie I hated abby at first but after playing as her u start to realize ellie is doing the EXACT same thing. Its a intense revenge cycle and it takes a lot to be broken. Abby is very similar to both ellie and joel weather u want to admit it or not.
In my opinion i like jocelyn even though I hate Abby like it’s a fictional character so we can potentially like the character but you despise the actor
I feel so sorry for Jocelyn having to deal with toxic gamers and their threats.. God bless you both.. Thank you for bringing our beloved characters to life :)
It's totally fair to dislike a character - hell, you're fully allowed to hate a character if that's how you really feel - but it is never, EVER, under ANY circumstances, _at all_ okay to send death threats or negative energy towards voice actors or face models. I really don't understand people who do that. I couldn't bring myself to like Abby in TLOU2 personally, but at no point did I think it would be remotely productive for me or anyone else to send hate to anybody, not even the writers. Gamers are such dirtbags sometimes, I swear.
@@ShadedOne_ Yes, true, but I've been gaming for more than a decade now, and gamers tend to be hella abusive and bitchy towards devs when they don't get exactly what they want. Not to mention, I've come across some of the lowest scum on earth playing online, too; the shit that people say really shows the kind of people gaming attracts sometimes. (Key word being _sometimes_ - I know that not all gamers are shitty, but the ones who are are pretty damn horrible.)
Literally. This is a real girl with a real life. She isn’t Abby 😂 she didn’t kill Joel guys Jesus. The Last Of Us has always been my favourite franchise, I absolutely hate the way the characters were done dirty in this and how Joel went out; but you’ve gotta be able to distinguish between fiction and reality.
This reminds me of Skyler White(Anna Gunn) from Breaking Bad lol. People who can't differentiate actors/voice actors/face model with the characters they played are stupid.
Crazy how we stumble back to this video after viewing Cas coming out . She was literally trying to let us know how she really feels . Good for her hope now she can express yourself and fully accept it .
I have seen a few bad mouths syaing not so nice things about her (very unreasonably, of course) but following her on Twitter, I see that there's this whole community of people giving her love and support under her tweets which is a delight to see! And I think all the little drops of hate gets buried down with it lol
Love or hate the story, Abby was an absolutely fantastic character. She is so complex and every 5 mins I would switch between being on her side or wanting her killed. Those are the characters you remember.
Too much hype tho. People shouldn’t be forced to like characters. It is completely okay if you love or hate a game. In either case don’t take it out too much on the actors.
Jocelyn is so sweet.. it makes me so upset how much hate and death threats she got... she should be so proud of herself because she did incredible as abby and deserves praise. Her performance was ironic.
Why cant people understand that Jocelyn is just a face model for Abby? Like Abby is a videogame persona... Jocelyn is not Abby, Abby is not real :))) Hope people understand that haha
You are an Angel Cascina, for two reason: 1) one more personal, is because i loved part 1 and part 2 and I loved their characters especially Abby that has ended being as my fav char with Ellie. So finding you and her TOGETHER is so so so much precious. 2) because she had to live in the hell for a pair of months cause of idiots that threatened her or insulted her. And I find beautiful that you can give her a chance to be known as the person she is and not as the char she face modeled. Thank you.
I had no idea Abby was real until today. Even on a roid-raged hulk of a body, I always thought Abby had a really gentle looking face and now I know I was right. Jocelyn seems like such a smart and sweet person- I’m genuinely sad just thinking about all the hate that must have been thrown her way just because guys were intimidated by Abby’s character. The world seems to come down on the good ones and I just feel bad for everyone. Anyways, it was great being able to see a glimpse of Jocelyn- I’m a fan for sure and I wish her the best in all things to come
I'm playing the game for the first time right now and one thing that struck me was looking at the Polaroid of her and thinking she has such a sweet, open smile. In another life I think she and Ellie could be good friends :(
There’s no bigger shot than me shooting my own shot with Cascina in this video 💀 ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-Db6wdCD6LdU.html (P.S it’s all banter)
I like bosses more than the others. Such a sad story with Vaas Hoyt and Buck from far cry 3. I didn't want them to die. Better Lisa Oliver and other silly people die than those bosses. With Abby the same. No reason to hate her.
@@mrrobluxo2369 Yup. The original face model for Ellie in the first game was almost exactly like Ellen Page. She complained about it and ND changed it but even after that there still is some resemblance between her and the final face model. Good thing that Ellie in TLOU 2 looks nothing like her.
@@6orv I totally need her to go back and get back with Ellie though hahaha and then they can all be friends and we can pretend there was no bloodshed and my heart didn't break 5000 times hahahaha *maniacal glare*
@@Darkness-ie2yl I do too. People can say whatever I loved Abby and felt for her character so much. And her in person seems really chill and this world needs chill hahaha.
I feel really bad for the girl who’s Abby. She’s been getting death threats and she’s not even the actor nor the voice actor. And the people that be leaving death threats are hella immature, it’s a game and not real life. I love the whole last of us part 2 games been a fan since the first game came out 💕
Flarrowversedits u should check this interview About Neil, I forget with who it was, but he talks about the hate, and he even said his kids have received threats.
Game is fucking awesome. I was delaying I dont even know why considering the first game is one of my favorites. Finished it just last night and its mindblowing. Abby is a great character, loved the revenge story. You girls rock.
so late to this, but you both are so pretttyyy and absolutely adorable! your characters in the game are both so amazingly designed and it's so cool that you 2 are the faces of them🤯 I'd be so freaked out to see my face in a game, and the face made so realistically it's INSANE!
Does anyone else notice how accurate Jocelyn's facial expression when asked her biggest fear, is to the face abby makes when she's looking down at heights? Naughty really did a good job of making shit sooooo realistic.
Dina needs to stop pretending to be Cascina... Also, Abby should start looking for Lev instead of sitting around impersonating this 'Jocelyn' character...
She doesn’t deserve all the hate she gets, I still don’t like Abby and I’ve played the game a couple times, but Jocelyn seems like such a chill and nice person
@@jonahnesmith7004 idk, I just think naughty dogs way of trying to make me feel bad for the character that killed joel didn’t work, multiple times. Like she left her friends vulnerable to save two kids that she just met, and that resulted in them getting killed (Owen and mel). They’re trying to make you look at Abby and lev the way joel and Ellie were, but it’s not the same at all
i just can't believe that there are silly people who hate jocelyn. she is a loving person! and abby's face model, that's all. besides, i admit i like abby, but i also like ellie, dina, joel and several other characters too. tell me, joel killed someone very important to abby, abby wanted revenge because of the immense pain she felt for the loss. she got what she wanted and could have killed ellie too, but she didn't, because she realized it wouldn't do any good. ellie went after abby for the same reason, lost someone very important and wanted to take revenge. but she didn't want to just attack abby all the way, since she literally killed ALL of her friends, wanted to make her suffer as she was suffering right now. is there a difference between them? both blinded by the desire for revenge? common sense is what is lacking for those who attack without thinking about the other sides and there are people who are doing this with the character and also with the model, this is crazy. and, holy shit, i know it hurts to lose joel and jesse too, but be sensible and consider that Abby lost her father. if someone comes and takes the person you love the most, don't tell me that you would be fine, that you would sit down and have afternoon tea with the person who killed that important person, really. in the end i'm on ellie and abby's side, in the midst of an apocalypse there is only pain and loss, and they reacted in an equivalent way to this world, following the brutal fury of revenge that led to what happened. there is no right or wrong amid so many bad things, just stop attacking abby and especially jocelyn, please.
She's fine don't see why she's getting attacked she's doing her job. But never in my life can you get me to accept Abby not after she brutalized joel killed Jesse and when Ellie was able to end it she let Abby live making litteraly the whole mission useless. I know it was better to keep her alive cause of the boy (don't remember his name) but I just can't say that i wasn't mad about the things she did and understand. If your gonna kill of a character like Joel make it atleast heroic not fucking beat to death with a golf club
@@dongold1964 his name is Lev. And I think that you didn't understand fully Abby's story. You can dislike her anyone has their tastes, but if she killed Joel it was only because Joel killed her dad and every other fireflies. She just wanted revenge. Ellie did the same thing after and she killed all her friends (while Abby let Tommy and Ellie alive at jackson). If Ellie wouldn't have killed her friends, Abby wouldn't have killed Jesse. I love theses two characters even if they did bad things, it's just that I feel like everyone hate Abby while Ellie did the same yk
Imagine if the fireflies had simply sat down with Joel and Ellie at the hospital and explained the situation. We all know Ellie was willing to sacrifice herself for the vaccine production, she would've def agreed and talked Joel out of intervening in any sorta way. Instead they tried to be tyrants about and it and kill Ellie in her sleep while they held Joel at gunpoint. That's the not the fucking way to do things. It could all have been avoided if things had been done the right way with consideration and respect for human life. I don't blame Joel at all, imagine if that was your daughter they were about to snuff out and you didn't even get a chance to say goodbye. They went about it the wrong way, the whole situation at the hospital could've been avoided. Same way Abbie didn't need to bash Joel's brains out in front of Ellie, but that's what i like about this story. No one is perfect, we do stupid shit all the time as humans. We are imperfect and emotional beings. And it comes back to bite us in the ass too many times. And i feel so bad for Meg and Owen, they didn't deserve that. But keep in mind before hating Ellie, these are the people that viciously murdered her father before her own eyes and they attacked her first, she just wanted to find Abby.
The intro should have been: Cascina: Jocelyn Mettler Jocelyn: Who are you? Cascina: Guess Jocelyn: Why don't you say whatever speach you've got rehearsed and get this over with
I cannot watch any video with Cascina without just staring at her face all the time and smiling and giggling over the fact of how expressive her facial features and expressions always are.
I feel so bad for Jocelyn, she did literally nothing wrong and helped create a great character. And got death threats for it 👀 Edit: i didn't mean to start a war in the comments lmao. I really hated her my first playthrough but on the second one, i thought she was really cool even tho i was still pissed.
@NotLife River Yeah they totally should have gone with a generic story where Joel and Ellie kill all the monsters and save the world and they all live happily ever after...that would have been so much better 🙄
CARAAAAAAACA MALUCO, EU VIVI PRA VER ISSO. ELAS EXISTEM NA VIDA REAL, IMAGINA TU ENCONTRAR UMA DELAS NA VIDA REAL E PENSAR, "CARACA VELHO, ELAS EXISTEM"
It's kinda dumb to hate a person who play a hated character like it's fine to hate a video game character but threatening and harassing an actor who played her is just uncool.
