The way the AI is able to immediately change it's facing takes away all the advantages of an agility build. I've been playing a short sword build ... started carrying around a shield so I could wait for attacks and then strike because I can't circle like I used to be able to. There is no advantage to movement, or any reason to move at all, because all the enemies instantly face you.

Yeah this is driving me nuts, I normally play str/heavy armor build but decided to mix things up to try to spice the game up, so I've been running agi/light armor with not much vit and being evasive... Was pretty fun before this update, but now I get splatted by giant slow monsters who track super easily, and I feel like I'm spending all my time in group fights dodging instead of actually fighting.

Probably unrelated but I'm curious if anyone is also experiencing some problems with using butcher knives. It SEEMS that on my private server the new enemy movements causes desync on corpses. For some reason I keep "missing" when using butcher knives. the animation and the blood splatter all shows up, but I won't get the resources and have to keep trying for like 4-5 times.

Wow, I had no idea that the crappy combat issues I have been dealing with in the game was happening to others too! My buddy and I have been playing other video games the last 5 months like Baldur's Gate 3, and before that we played the huge disappointment that was Diablo 4. We decided to hop back into Conan as we both missed it. The timing was good as this new Chapter was released a few days before we restarted with fresh characters on a private server I rent. Yesterday was the second weekend in a row we have played and we were both shocked at how much we sucked at combat compared to how we were in the past. Neither of us remembered having this much trouble taking on the 1 skull guys in the starter areas, especially at levels 15-25. I used to always get the 1 skull by the starter area where the few nodes of iron and aloe grow along the beach right where the narrow is. All I needed was the iron shield, and the iron truncheon. Now he was able to kill me a few dozen times before I eventually just gave up. Also my character keeps facing the wrong way when turning around to go the opposite direction (towards me). I also had the exact same issue you did when I used the heavy maul hammer and my character didn't respond correctly either. I chalked it up to the mods we are using but I am relieved to know it isn't the mods, but just bugs and glitches from the devs. When I hit level 34 last night and got the recipe to equip the steel shortsword, the heater shield and the Hyborian slave armor, I killed every 1 skull I found with just 2 hits, and all the regular elephants and rhinos with just over 6 or 7 hits. I finally kick butt again. I hope the devs fix this annoying combat asap.

Agreed. I don't like it. It feels very awkward. I have tried turning off/on the rotational camera and doing so locked me into an over the shoulder view. Farming is more work because I have to move my body to turn to farm near by rocks using WASD. Also, you lose situational awareness and ability to respond to on coming threats quickly. This is a case of fixing something that wasn't broke.

I can't stop getting stabbed in the back and missing swings when trying to resource gather. It's so fucking broken. This is like that running nerf they introduced in like 2020 or 2021 where everyone kept sliding if they had gathered momentum. They lost like 90% of the playerbase in three days and immediately reverted it because it was unplayable. I hope this will be met with the same reaction.

The moonwalking enemies and side sliding, stampy does the same and can change direction in middle of his stampede, game combat fell so much smother before it’s absolutely wonky.

I feel some of what you just said works but it still doesn't feel like elephants work well because of the hit range and some animations are now fucked up lol. No idea what they are doing down there at Funcom HQ but it doesn't look good.

I'm very thankfull that you are voicing your (and our) frustration about this issue. I like the new content implemented by each battle pass, but yet again we got a butchered launch and unnecessary changes. In German we have a word that's quite fitting: "verschlimmbessern" -> verbessern = improving & schlimm = bad. Verschlimmbessern describes the action of trying to improve something, yet one just worsens it instead.

Very well put as always. I think you're very kind and understanding with Funcom. I however will rant to the moon and back. For a long time the game has felt like a really bad beta. Constantly changing core functionality mechanics that essentially make you have to relearn the game has always seemed absurd to me. It seems like a polished work in progress. At this point they should just make a new game. Some of the new additions are great but if they're going to throw in a bunch of new stuff, I'd rather it be more locations to explore. Open up the map. Add more lore. But now, every time they promise an update I just ask "Okay, what did they break now?" Sounds like some cool stuff was added this time around but I have very little desire to even deal with relearning basic movement again.

My son started playing 3 days ago and was really naturally talented at the combat. On day 3 they implemented the changes and he was like “Why do I suddenly suck? My character feels so much slower”. I’m only 3 weeks in (coming over from Ark) but it seems like EVERYTHING in the game has been nerfed at some point (thralls, sword of crom, bleed, etc)

Literally everything has been nerfed. Stamina cost doubled. Rolls slowed down massively. Rotational attacking (and mining, which is equally annoying) erased. Pikes nerfed. Warhammers nerfed. Greatswords nerfed. Thralls nerfed. Hyperarmor erased. The players themselves are a shell of what they could be back in 2017-2021. I find that extra funny considering it's been called ''Thrall Exiles'' among the community due to the fact that Thralls were the only ones who could actually go toe to toe with enemies and bosses since launch. So instead of fixing that problem by making the player stronger/enemies weaker, they keep enemies unchanged but nerf the players. Funcom made the groundwork for one of the best games I have ever played, but by God I wish literally any other dev was in charge of this game right now.

110% agree with Anabriella this new combat system makes me feel worse than ever before. I am no expert at combat in Conan but I could handle myself pretty good, now I fell like a slug….NO I feel worse than a slug, I feel like a piece of crap left behind by a slug !!!! This new combat system is by far the worst experience in gaming I have ever experienced. I am convinced that Funcom devs are doing all they possibly can to destroy what was once a great game because it’s impossible to make this many stupid decisions and mistakes for a single game. It’s impossible is it not ?

I just started fresh, and I'm struggling to clear the cannibals at the entrance of the dregs now lol. Can't target things properly now and the way the enemies snap to you now they are MUCH harder. They nerfed players and buffed all the NPCs/Animals

One of the first things that I done running was running through Wine Cellar, fully geared in Dragon Bone heavy armour made with a T4 Shieldwright so I was sat on 1800 armour, my T4 bearer although only level 17 also had 2.1k armour. I wasn't able to clear the Wights Thag spawned in the 2nd and 3rd phases because they'd be so much more reactive than normal, I couldn't get more than 1 swing on them and ultimately died having burned through 15+ Pure Aloe potions while watching my poor bearer get staggered just as much as me by the 2 wights that weren't chasing me. No gear change, no skill issue as I'd done the exact same run, with the same thrall that was level 14 at the time just before the servers went down to patch. The ability to turn and get a hit off is gone, all while mobs are far more reactive so you can get swarmed easier, and even in the heaviest armour possible you can get worn down without being able to retaliate. It makes for a very unappealing gamestyle of needing to play with War Party and hide behind thralls to let you enjoy playing.

I don't mind the AI having better combat, makes fighting more strategic, I've noticed you have to time your dodges more accurately now which was a huge learning curve. But we need our old combat system back so that we can actually move the way we were able to before

Agree 100% - this update has been a complete shambles. Combat in AoW chapter 2 was probably the best it's been in Conan. This did not need to be changed. Add in a pile of other bugs like the commander of Al-meraya not spawning and purge fighters not spawning - overall this has been one of the most disappointing patches I can remember.

Added to all of that, the major features of this update are broken. Camels have to be spawned in via admin, the respawn timer at al merayah is cranked up to nightmare difficulty. Bad combat. Whole thing should have been delayed till January instead of sent out in an alpha state.

I don't know if it's just my thralls. I tested in many spots on the map with a variety of weapons and mobs and thralls. When the thralls engage the enemy they don't change direction. They keep pointing the same direction yoyo back and forth with the combat animations stabbing in the same direction not turning to face the mob if it side steps them. I left one thrall in combat with a small spider for over 5 minutes when watching him point the wrong way stab stab stab at nothing :/

theres another tip that i use. its not perfect either but you can also use the target lock to sort of fight according to the old chapters. it feels much better than the rotationable camera setting.

My thralls are not positioning themselves. They are doing combo attacks in only one direction and they attack nothing basically

What ever bug they were trying to fix is not worth degrading the quality of the game. This new combat feels like an early access place-holder clunky mess. I totally understand why Ana is ranting.

It must be because I'm new (just over 230 hours), but I'm not having any issues. My girl and I did a level 10 purge today no problem, only lost 1 door. we've done about 15 purges in chapter 3 and got 5 barkeeps. We play on our own server with some friends. Haven't tried the raid yet. Will eventually, first I want to make a tavern. Didn't have the ban or crom coins missing issue and neither did my girl. Not saying the issue doesn't exist, just haven't experienced it. Guess I'm lucky us and our friends are still having fun. One thing, we didn't start over with the new patch but continued our current playthrough.

I feel this especially because I use target lock with controller and my character starts to attack in one direction that im not facing and i cannot turn back. During a purge I get ruined due to this...

I noticed this somewhat in the last chapter update, that enemies would turn you face you ridiculously fast. Big bosses with big hammers like the Watcher in the Unnamed City would begin his swing, the hammer coming down, you'd dodge and they'd instantly change direction and hit you anyway. I found it a bit annoying but fair enough, you have to do wait a little longer for a tighter dodge. Now, with Chapter 3, it feels like dodges are next to useless. And that's not even the worst thing, the camera is absolutely atrocious, stand hand-to-hand to an enemy and the camera is facing almost straight down, completely taking away any semblance of battlefield awareness. And not using the lock-on system is barely an option either since, as Anabriella describes, the character isn't moving with you. It's like the only weapons that can be used now are the two-handed weapons with huge swing arcs because otherwise you'll just hitting the air. And even the big weapons are hard to use because now every single hit will interrupt your attack and leave you stunlocked, making slower weapons much harder to use and making it nearly impossible to fight several opponents at once. I used to like the feeling of swinging my big sword through rows of enemies, watching them fall left and right, but that's nearly impossible to do now.

The forums are burning up with unhappy players. HOPEFULLY they will listen. The changes to combat/camera are completely awful. The "you should not be able to solo a spider at lvl 10" is completely ridiculous to me. Yes, you should?! If you are good enough to manoeuvre properly. All they are doing is removing the fun from this game.

Funcom copied Dark Souls ultra hard, but then turns around and claims you shouldn't be able to solo a somewhat strong world boss at level 10... I mean, have they not seen the countless SL1 no-hit runs on every Dark Souls game that isn't DS2??? They missed the mark so damn hard.

They need to stop doing these types of changes. There was no need for this one ( combat nerf to the game. ) if they can't do beneficial changes to the game . Then leave it a lone and fix the old bugs in the game that we all have told them about and showed them .

To put it a bit more bluntly. The combat changes are dogsh**. One can target an enemy. Be right on top of them. And still utterly miss the mark. Especially with certain, close range weapons.

Wrote this on wak's video but i will repeat it here. I got banned this time. Chapter 2 all my crafting thralls got deleted and in chapter 1 several of my buildings got deleted with everything in them. Funcom is just determined to make me stop playing the game. The day one bugs are absolutely brutal.

I don't see the point why it shouldn't be possible to beat a spider with knives to get a legendary weapon. If you can manage it than its just your skill in mastering the game. You did not used any cheatcodes or glitches, so why it shouldn't be possible?

The combat is worse. I agree. If you push W and hold as you move the mouse, you will attack largely as you did before the change. You also need to move after an attack or your stamina will pause before starting to regen. It seems to affect some weapons more than others. Katanas seem more difficult to direct than short swords, and both are harder than twirling animation weapons like axes. It isn’t a better system, but it’s not as bad as people have made out. It just requires more coordination of both hands than before.

Its bad. Also, there has been the option in settings both for client and server to disable the mouse aim, so it shouldn't matter for balance reasons. The option is still there but does nothing, which makes it unclear if this whole thing is a bug or not.

I was on the beta the day before the update went live and the combat had been changed there (did not imagine it) as did al-maraya respawn rate change the day before it went live. The combat feels terrible

I was happy for the new update but the camera in FPP is terrible. If you are hitting tree or anything else and you start moving your mouse then your head is moving instead of your whole body. This would be okey if there would be a dedicated head camera movement for a button for example ALT. This new camera is terrible sometimes even stucks.

I totally agree with you Ana, I value your views and a few other content streamers, myself 3k hours in the game love it really, if Ana and Wak say it's bad , it is BAD. !, disappointed with the release. the banning, then the gameplay, notice thralls only do three hits, when the enemies seem to do 4 !, played today and lost 2 mid lvl thralls, going into the tavern business, best wishes Ana, love ya vids and accent stay well 🦘

I'm really baffled by Funcom. Backstory: I bought and played Age of Conan when it released, an unfinished, broken mess that never got any better until today. There still are reproducable errors in this game that ruin your server choice. Anyway, bought Conan Exiles 2 weeks ago and I was pleasantly surprised, especially because of the sheer depths of the game. Now, after the patch, the fun is gone. I should have known. Not mentioning a change like the combat changes and sneak them into the game unannounced and untested ist abominable.

IMO, the way they implemented the change - stinks. Hopefully, they will give us the option/make a change to the new system. Sorry your return was marred by this experience and that it gets better soon!

These changes should be something we can choose as an option. If it's not, it's meant to be a handicap and as such it will be the end of the game for many of us imho.

The weird thing is that it still IS an option in the settings, both client and server. But turning it off or on does nothing. Its broken but not part of the known issues. They say it's intentional in order to "fix another small bug" They won't tell us what bug or when this should be back to normal. (it won't )

I just restart a new character to test it, I feel clumsy, laggy, trying to roll out of way to dodge an attack... it loot like rolling in slow motion... Oh I am not using target lock at all, I never liked it... Am I alone about it?

Ana, it's not just this. I've got about 3-4k hours in this game and somehow I can't 'hit' anything more than about 20% of my shots. The Mace jump seems to be the worst. I can't put my finger on it. One day I was about to land 80-90% of my hits, next day I had 20%. At first I had a string of 15+ MISSES... I ended up having to turn target lock on to actually kill anything. It's the weirdest thing. It's like the collision box on the weapon animation (I'm a UE Dev) was made smaller and ALSO there was some kind of autoface added that angles me away from the target. Then everything just kept on despawning. I lost multiple thralls, and the second I look away from them the game destroys the blueprint. Of my dead thrall, deleting all the gear and then ALSO for every thrall that was knocked out. I rage quit and never even made it to the purge. Back on my dev PC now. So now I'm only able to play if I never want a knock out a thrall, lose a thrall or engage in combat. Cero was right. These guys are doing their best to kill the franchise. Look at the upside, when a company does this they gift a competitor with their user base.

I new there was a change as soon as I started combat. I though maybe I was doing something wrong but after I was watching other gamers play and commented I relized that is wasn't me. I am not a gamer but I really love Conan Exiles. I play it 99% of the time. I HOPE they do something about this. I love the new purge and the new base to raid (Have not be brave enough to try yet. LOL)

The problem is, as you have demonstrated time and time again, beating that spider thing and all the other world bosses, apart from Rotbranches, used to be a trivial matter, something that any half-decent player could do at level 1 with stone daggers. You didn't need an agility build to dodge them, as their attack direction was locket the moment they primed their attacks, and thus could be avoided by simply side stepping. It needs fine tuning and CE's hitboxes can be notoriously funky, but forcing you to actually wait for them to attack before dodging is, in my opinion, a step to a right direction. The removal of the mouse aim is a completely different matter, and the fact that they decided to overhaul the combat system right before the holidays is baffling, but that's Funcom for you.

bear with me, kinda a long comment: the awful combat changes began in age of war chapter 2. i didnt mind the stamina change in chapter 1 given how fast it restores and i can adapt to change thats within reason. however, when you group the stamina change with the crippling hyper armor changes that make it near impossible to fight groups of enemies, combined with the camera changes in chapter 3, it makes this a recipe for total disaster. my theory is that they did this to make the purge and the al meraya siege more difficult. these changes primarily inhibit you from fighting large crowds, which is exactly what the purge and siege is. getting attacked by 5 or more enemies is hit 1 guy, roll roll roll, hit 1 guy, roll roll roll. this certainly does make the purge and the siege more difficult, but its artificial difficulty. its only harder because they limited our ability to fight. also, in chapter 2, they added that thing where you can change the direction youre attacking mid swing. a subtle but very effective change that aids in hitting a moving target. now in chapter 3 with these camera changes, that seems to no longer be a thing. so they added that feature in chapter 2 and only for chapter 2? this is counter productive. im not trying to play darksouls. games that rely on dodge rolling as your primary form of avoiding damage is cringe of the highest order. rolling around like a ball is not how people fight. they need to add the ability to parry/block with any weapon, and parry/blocking should cancel attack animations and happen the moment you execute the command to block or parry. you can kinda parry/block with the 2 hand axe, but if you try to block on a dime and weave it in between melee attacks, its just not going to happen. id like to see less emphasis on rolling around like a fool, and more emphasis on standing and fighting.

I have had some real WTH moments today playing this. The accurate and instant facing is deadly and they punch super hard. It isn't as fun, I agree. What I am doing to cope is I am starting the attack instead of the thralls. I have them on Guard Me so they charge in and then I back away. I am used to staying toe to toe in the fray with the thralls, but the mobs keep shifting focus to me and hit too damn hard. I didn't do this yet, but I am very tempted to turn the damage down to 50%.

Agility players are getting screwed. The only thing I noticed that helps with the weird camera change is holding W. If you hold W while you attack then you'll swing your attacks where you want to as it should be. But that's hardly a solution to a problem they introduced for no reason. The idea that they're not even going to address the game breaking bugs they introduced until mid January is infuriating.

Well, as of now, I am still getting the ban bug and I am very disappointed in the devs. I agree with you on the changes in this last patch as I can still play solo and it's really a mess the way the combat is now. Conan is my game but i don't know if I will go back after the ban bug is removed if it ever gets fixed. I have reinstalled and went back to playing Eve Online after a 2 year break, I played Eve for a little over 10 years and going back after the 2 year break was refreshing. I have close to 4,000 hrs in Conan and I am very very disappointed and upset. Update, 12/18/23 today FunCom replied to my email reguarding the Coin Ban, they were very apologitic and resolved and corrected the ban. I still think that the ban should have been addressed much sooner than 5 days, but, I am thankful that it is resolved.

Along with everything else folks have mentioned, Funcom also nerfed the prisoners that you can free on Isle of Siptah. Until a week ago, you could free a captive and either let them go their way or have them follow you. But now they're enemies; thralls attack them and I can't get them to follow me. So I release the captive and then beat him unconscious with a truncheon? It makes no sense. In my previous Siptah game, I built a whole town and those freed captives were the townspeople, especially if they were T1 or T2. Now, they just...die, I guess. May seem like a small thing but it's another thing they messed with for no foreseeable reason.

THANK YOU FOR SAYING IT! After the update, I'm struggling to find a tactic that works on enemies like giant spiders and crocs, they rotate and target you with such precision that you are going to have to take hits, there's no room to react to enemy attacks. Your movements and recovery are slow compared to enemies that can even break your combos whilst in the middle of executing it. It's taken the fun out of the game, and it's become frustrating to play it now, I'm not good at combat. so, it was challenging enough for me, but now I can't even play it without dying and losing everything and then running back to my death point to reclaim all my gear is tedious.

I never us lock on and I use Havoc and Malice so I'm whirlwinding half the time so I didn't see any real negative changes to combat, I will test it some more tomorrow when I'm not working on my massive tavern and running the purge to get the archer stands.

Considering that when stuff like this happens I usually need to uninstall for 6+ months so they fix the systems when they break a core one because of the size of the game... So while the way it is now makes the player have to adjust to something that's way way different. We all been used to this game being incredibly easy. I don't mind the NPC going from being trash to being focused and actually intelligent. However the things they did to make NPC comparable before. Then fixed them by breaking us. They should of realized the delays in combat we have now with the new staggering rates just made a weak NPC to be more like a boss. With the way we have to make our characters basically now has forced many to play like a true MMORPG with an active combat system. The worse part is that they haven't figured out how to balance enemies to players and thralls versus enemies.. i will probably get used to it. However it breaks the way everyone was used to it with little warning. However the thing I'm upset about is how they handled when they do updates.

you think the spiders bad? try the giant rock things. you run upto it's legs and it spins on on invisible axis to track you so it's legs are always moving away from wherever your trying to hit. it looks awful and the boss is basically indestructible because the act of taking a swing moves the target away

Just got a chance to test out the combat changes and what it seems like to me is that the bosses have a new lock on system. When you move and roll around a boss it snaps onto you so its facing you constantly, if you watch the spider in the video you will see what i mean. I think i found a solution to be able to look around while fighting, just go to gameplay tab in settings and turn on controller style movement, i just tested it with mouse and keyboard and controller and seems to work for both.

Just wanted to throw this in the discussion - people playing with keyboard and mouse are used to a fundamentally different control system than controller users. With a mouse you can whip the camera around in nanoseconds, but controller users have always had to deal with (relatively) slow turning. I use a controller, and to be honest I'm still trying to understand what the problem is. I'm not saying there isn't one - just that perhaps it is much more noticeable for k&m players than it is for controller players. I'd love to hear some thoughts on this.

There is a fix for it in the workshop Chapter 3 Combat HotFix (by Xevyr) But that fix probably only work for Non Funcom servers or single player mode. I would assume most likely won't work on Funcom servers.

It is really bad currently. Haven't seen so many bugs since the early days in 2018. Combat feels the worst it's ever felt. Run a knife agility build and don't tend to have problems with much if I take my time. I usually run dungeons without thralls, but with the new mechanics making Warmakers a little more spicy I switched to my cheeky authority build so my 'zerkers could have a little go...half the time they preferred to play fisty cuffs with the enemies rather than pull out their maces. The other thrall option seemed to be getting a couple swings in then just stand and take a beating until I killed the enemy. This seemingly unlocked them to behave normally for a bit. Made it thru, but the journey was unnecessarily rough. Sad it's so wonky atm. For once I actually like their pass, but can't be bothered to get it with the current state of things. Really hope they can sort it.

I can see why they did it, to equal the playing field between PC and Consoles, but really I can also see them loosing alot of PC players over this change.. Lesson one: If your game is not fun to play no one will play it. Lesson two : if you want cross platform play design your game from the start like that so it feels the same everywhere. Don't run 2 or more version for years and then just change it to make a small % of you players on Consoles happy by nerfing the PC base players so that your pvp are on the same level.

Dont know if its a goincidence but I play on a privare server with maybe 4 or 5 other players.. since the patch we are having stability issues loggin in.. there are areas on the map taht are near impossible to play as we keep losing connection to the server.. Weve played this server for ages without trouble.. so not sure if the changes have something to do with stability of the server

I've only played for a couple of hours on chapter 3. I immediately started a purge and I did not notice the combat change at first but after about 5 minutes I started to notice what I thought was some weird camera lag, like I could not turn quickly enough to line up my attacks and it was a much harder fight than I expected. After the purge ended I changed loadout to heavy armour with 2 handed sword then did another purge and it was easier but not as fun for me, I like moving fast and striking quickly and before this latest change I think combat was pretty balanced for all loadouts and fights come down to experience and tactical positioning. I am really hoping the change as it is was not planned and is bugged somehow but if it was intentional then my message to the dev's would be stop listening to people complaining about agility builds because they think they can just get to level 60 gear up and expect to be winning fights.

It's not the camera. It is sorta directional lock of the player character that can last for app. four seconds (depending on weapon type), and it affects thralls aswell. Spamming target lock as a workaround helps, but that is !"§$%&/ There is now also an after combo lock of half a second or so.

Even out of combat, it locks you into one direction while gathering resources. Not game breaking, but annoying. It's more annoying because it's completely unneeded. All I think people were asking for was a slightly nerf to spears in PvP.

The fact that a enemy swinging a huge heavy hammer in an overhead swing and it can instantly rotate towards your location with no effects to the swing, the simple physics of the momentum not carrying on is absolutely ridiculous.How can the devs of played this and thought it was decent in anyway shape of form. The enemy instantly can predict your location no matter where your position will be after multiple rolls in different directions. Horrible mechanics now. Changing any of the camera/views etc does not fix this mechanic.

I feel exactly the way you do about this with a bonus, I can no longer use my construction hammer in already existing worlds I've tried all sorts of things but nothing works. But I am building an RPG in the exiled lands for me and my friends and this is the 6th time in two month's that I need to start over due to an update corrupting the files. Entire weeks of work gone once again.

I have a lot of thoughts about the combat changes, but what they come down to is it was unnecessary and a retrograde change. I've been playing the game since beta and have something like 3.4k hours in it. The 'new' combat system reminds me a lot of those first couple of years. What we had in 2.0 was a slick, responsive (mostly) combat system that was fun to play. What we have in 3.0 is a re-introduction of a good deal of jank and clunk--and that's not nearly as much fun. I've always played in a fashion somewhat similar to what 3.0 has forced down everyone's throats, but even being used to using lock-on (situational) and the rotating camera the 'new' system still feels clumsy and forced compared to what we had. The Exile was supposed to be the hero of this tale, but we've moved back towards Game of Thralls--but with much weaker thralls.

Best way to stop naked level 10s from cheesing a spider to get a legendary weapon is to make the chests require level 60 again. I have no idea why they thought removing that restriction was a good idea.

Game content, add-ons, accessories, new weapons, tools, construction items... Instead of being in the Rare Workers Specialization or possible to obtain on the Map or missions!! Sold (also not in DLC) only for coins :D Bazaar... Pay to win or Build. Laughter and a lot of minuses. Legendary items cannot be repaired now, and they are not particularly better than those you create in the game. There are a lot of comments about what happened to the game. I understand everything, the production of the game is expensive and all that, but it affects the players, and new players can barely understand the old stages of the game, let alone understand the new ones and stay in the game. The discussion could last for hours to draw conclusions. '' When will it be possible to catch Aesir thral in the north again? New purification system Ok, but why is it not possible in another Region of Other Pruge? Well Im not gonna lie, when I logged in to have a go at the new siege I didnt really notice the change, I did notice the siege was way too easy literally solo it with no thrall and only the heals i just so happened to have in my inventory when I logged on and there was nothing inside well all but one room really. the only thing that caused me problems is when the guards that seem to spawn after you take the treasure all circled me and stuck to me like magnets and pin me from all sides where I stood and started pounding me from all side. it was stupid, nobody can defend against that, I dont care how they are if I hadn't of glitch rolled through one of them I would have died. as soon as I got free it was easy to kill all of them. I really hate what funcom has done since chapter 2 its like who ever is making the decisions over at HQ is driving the company off a cliff and its such a shame.

@@Anabriella Well to be fair the siege base is super leggy on pve because its was surrounded with giant laggy basses so maybe thats why I didnt notice. In all honesty I kinda play on auto piolet when on vanilla conan because I play AOC so base game is not challenging in anyway.

Well the mechanic being where your character attacks towards the crosair is the old system. It was better that way. Although the old system had different combat animations that allowed for strafing during an attack. I don't think the current move sets would go well with it.

I'm glad you posted this video. When the update had finished downloading, I turned off my PC, had something to eat, then turned my PC on again (something I've always done since an update on another game advised it) and started playing Exiles it looked ok to start with but as soon as I got into combat, I got severely battered by a pair of Shalebacks. I put it down to my mistake and aftet healing with after a couple of Hyenas. The same thing happened with directional facing and they killed me. I thought maybe my keyboard and mouse were playing up but now I know it was the update. Thanks for verifying that I'm still as good at the game as I was and there's nothing wrong with my computer. I immediately liked and subscribed.

I thought I was going crazy because I missed my hits a lot. Now I know lol one way I got around to quickly target the enemy is tapping the q key which locks on a target and I started to miss less. I hate it and it's not fun, I hope they change it back 😔

I can understand if they want to make fight harder BUT if you ask me this is just unintended bug. It looks soooo stupid to see giant spider sliding 360 without animation and giant crocodile changing direction in the air like target lock missile. Right now fighting with bosses looks so stupid. That's the main problem I think. I accept if it is harder but I don't accept if it is more stupid.
