We put our Schleich collection (same crazy amount) in an old china hutch we found on facebook marketplace. All the horses are lined up on the china shelves, and the barns and fencing is below in the closed cabinet part. Looks so wonderful and inviting to play with. I would put a twin bed in that room with a pull out trundle bed below, and the hutch with the collection in that sweet little room.

Save everything you possibly can of the Schleich!! I’m now 24 about to have my first daughter and I wish I kept all of my old horse stuff. I get so sad sometimes about it!

Know how you feel, Laura as it truly is saying goodbye to our children's childhood😥 Very sad - but - it's so heartwarming when you see your Grandchildren loving those toys🥰 They often love them most because they were their Mamma's. I stored my kids favourite toys in a Glory Box I inherited from a Great Aunt when I was young. It's now in my Grandsons bedroom and he loves it. You're all entering an exciting new chapters of your lives❤️

Have to get bunk beds for that spare room they make them that sleep more than two. We got an inch of snow this morning here in Arkansas our first snow of the year. We are expecting more next week. The cows broke in to my horse pens dad hasn't gotten hay in time. It snows here it feels like a three ring circus. No one knows how to drive on snow in the south so emergency vehicles are everywhere trying to pull people out of ditches on theses old mountain roads.

Aww, I remember the girls getting and playing with the Schleich. It is like saying good-bye to childhood. I was sad when my daughter who is Gabby's age didn't want her American Girl doll anymore.

When my daughter was growing up, there were no Schleich, the toy she collected and had nearly every single one of was Grand Champion horses. I bet she easily had two or three hundred. When she got older we donated them, but now I wish I had saved them because she has two horse crazy daughters herself. I would loved to have been able to pass them on to Emery and Eliana

My dad made us a Murphy bunk bed. You can buy them but not a buck. That would work in a small room. Put away by day and open for night. If there is so much heat in that bed room make a screen door so the heat can come out into the main house. It will help heat the hallway. Love Penny she a doll. We always had stuff in the yard and paddocks so the chickens and other birds could hide under through the day. Did the duck have more eggs or just one. I laught when you had to wait for Sophie it was always Gabby. . Childhood is the most wonderful time. Be honest with you I still have my horses collection plus all my horse books. My daughter over 40 still has her My Little Pony and her Beanie Babys. Also the Painted Horses which she still collects today. They are all on display. The boys have the GI Joe collection and Train sets. They are being stored since the farm house was sold. Me I still pich up the odd figures and horse books most of them have never been looked in. Some are so worn that new ones should be gotten. I use them for my in house horse course. I assign a subject and the look it up and make a report. Also some students up put a program and work book together. Those what I call real students that wanted to learn everything and anything. Today they just want to come ride and go. Them I charge more. They don't like it, move on. But for some reason some come back after a year or two. Anyway I believe keep the child in you or otherwise you will fall apart.
