People need to understand that charlie is in his 30s, hes still living with his dad, hes taking care of children that aren't his. He doesn't have a job therefore no money. He doesn't have a girlfriend and hes dealing with his sobriety. The situations hes dealing with are probably 10x harder when living with angry grandpa. Michael I don't know how you don't realize this. The fucked up part is that you knew he spent money and made you a birthday dinner and you and grandpa went out to dinner without him, and you didn't even bother to go eat Charlie's food he made for your birthday or spend time with him.
