Sorry to see it go. I just picked up my first Tundra a couple hours ago. A 2014 SR5 Crewmax. Your channel gave me a lot of confidence in the platform. Best of luck!
I started seeing your new Tacoma and I had to go do a search to see what happened! Good luck on your your back recovery. I injured my back in a sledding accident (I hit a jump and landed really hard and all the force went into my lower back). I was dealing with back pain for a good 5 years, but recovered. Hope the same for you man! Congrats on the new (to you) truck.
Thank you and best of luck with your tundra! I will probably be keep making contents on the Tacoma, nothing hard core anymore just daily and camping oriented mods.
Nice, you'll love the tacoma too. I have a 2021 off-road as well. a simple tune helps delayed throttle response and transmission shift maps to help with the annoying gear hunt. though 2021 being stock wasnt that bad.
Thank you and I am already loving the new tacoma. I am okay with the transmission logics as I am not in a hurry when driving a truck haha. Found out the best mod for me is to lower my expectations. cheers!
I came from the Tacoma I hated how it shifted I could never get it shifting good I tried so much tunes and I’ll never get a auto trans Tacoma again I HATE the autos in these tacomas once you put 33s it feels so sluggish it feels like your hurting it every time you drive it on the highway I have a tundra now and much better power but if I could fined a6speed manual Tacoma I would trade in my tundra
@@robertespinoza2740 yeah most people end up regearing which helps a ton paired with the tune. i got used to it now. the transmissions are still bulletproof, same one used in Hilux.
Thank you for the kind words, I will try my best to keep the symptoms away and keeping the love for Offroad vehicles and occasional offroad/camping trips!
Wow! Hate to see her go but you got a great deal. How many miles were on the tundra? Hope you fully recover and perhaps in a tundra again later in life!
I can feel the pain during the first couple of segments in this video of you having to let go of your T. You've put a lot of effort into that Tundra and it is a bitchin' rig. I have those wheels now on my F150 (but had my eye on 'em before I first saw your channel last month). Going to watch the rest of this thing, now. Whoa! Hey now... I love the color of the CPO Tacoma! and it's size will be better suited to off-highway travel (even if you'll have less cu ft of storage for gear. You can always get a small offroad trailer! Congrats on the Tacoma. This isn't so bad after all. lol.
Thank you for being able to resonate with the pain of having to let go of the tundra. I do have a lot into it and hate to see it go, but you are right, the size and color of this little Tacoma is not a “down size” in my book. More Tacoma contents coming up.
Saw your truck for sale on Facebook and had to do a double take, thanks for sharing all the content with it that you did! From a fellow black tundra owner.
Been watching you for a while now. Sad to see your Tundra go. I made a move on the Ironman bumper set up because of your videos. If you have anything left over, I'd be interested, especially the rack.
Hi man. Thanks for the comment. I sold all the parts except the lights. Which I maybe willing to let go of the Auxbeam 9inch since it’s a bit too big for the Tacoma I think.
Im 35 years old and have 2 herniated disc in my lower back from a work injury. I feel your pain and it sucks. I have a 2014 tundra on 33s and its a pain to get into. You will have fun upgrading your Tacoma and look forward to the videos to come.
Glad to find someone who can resonate with me but sorry that happened to you. How are you doing now? I am 36 and from what I heard disc herniation is irreversible but symptoms can be managed correct? And yea from my research this past week Tacoma has way more mods options than tundra does, and you bet I will be making vids of my Tacoma ownership journey, hope all the best!
@@4WDisLife 1 year post herniations and still have chronic pain but some improvement. Good luck on your road to recovery! I just picked up a set of Method 706 =35 offset 18/9 for my tundra. Do you think I will have any issues with 295/70r18 tires? Have upgraded suspension and bumper already. more so worried about the JBA off-road UCAs and BMC
@@mef736 just wanted to clarify, its +35mm offset right? I would think that will be the best offset in terms of eliminating rubbing. Personally I would have no doubt that it wont rub, but every truck maybe a bit different. If you ask me, with your suspension and bumper upgrade, it should not rub. disclaimer, if they rub, please don't make it my fault haha
