When I was younger I just thought about being happy. When I grow up I'll hv alot of icecream and play all day long and just sleep late and watch barbie all night. Who knew growing up would take all that away. I suck at maths. I got my first d in my report card and I stayed up studying but still get bad marks. My mom said she disappointed in me. My dad wants me to be an engineer but I'd probably not be able to. All I thought as a child was about friends and how if I was older I'd hv more fun but no when u grow up its just sad hard things. Like being a disappointment, feeling like ur not good enough and crying when ur big sister who u looked up to doesn't love u. When u realise that soon you'll be left alone and everybody will go away and u will never be good enough.

I couldn't do it right so I was asking my dad andy mom said I guess she'll go into arts then she won't get into sciences and my dad yelled at me. Why can't u think logically oh my god. born in 1999 here, so even tho we're 9 years apart we're both apart of Gen Z! :) but yeah, there's definitely a noticeable difference in what we would find nostalgic haha :) between 2005-2012 was the core of my childhood, at least of course that I rememeber. I'm 21 now, turning 22 this year, and shows like Suite Life of Zack and Cody, Hannah Montana, Drake and Josh, That's so Raven, Wizards of Waverly Place, and iCarly we're the core live-action shows from my childhood :) as far as Cartoon Network, ugh😭 so many that the up and coming group of kids won't have the same emotional attachment to! 😭 the ORIGINAL Ben 10, Foster's Home for Imaginary Friends, Ed, Edd, n Eddy, Code Lyoko!, Code Name Kids Next Door, Billy and Mandy, Chowder, and I can't forget about Total Drama lol - I could definitely go on! Cartoon Network had a lot of good ones in the 2000s that's for sure :) and the old logos for Nick, Disney, and Cartoon Network were a million times better back then! I stopped caring about all of these awesome shows somewhere in 2012, but I've literally been binging all of my childhood shows lately and it's just the best! 😊💙 never grow up! You're on the cusp of the pesky teen years and you're gonna feel all high and mighty haha but trust me - you're gonna miss this. all of this! your parents, the comfort and regularity that comes with school, ugh. You DON'T wanna grow up and have to worry about bills and taxes, trust me 🙄😅 take this advice from a friendly stranger: try to enjoy high school. YES - freedom is on the other side of the next 5-6 years of your life, but with that freedom comes some major responsibility. Soak in every moment with those friends of yours because there will come a day when many of you will drift apart. You say it won't happen now, but things change. Life happens...so take in all those moments! :)))
