ok, so the basics behind Asriel is he's a kid trying to hold onto the past with his only friend, and he would go to any lengths to get them back, but realizes that there is no way t go back and he has to live with past mistakes and realize that his old friend wasn't a good person (he says it himself) and finally decides to live life as it is.... yup

Endermaster the ll - He simply wants to spend more time with them, to make them keep 'playing the game'. Because if Frisk gets the happy ending, they might be 'done with the game' and will not come back any more. Asriel is just afraid of being left alone again by who he sees as his best friend. Hence, why he calls you the original fallen child's name, and says he is your best friend, before the fight.

If you had, say, an eight-year-old brother, if he were given godly powers, do you think he wouldn't change his appearance to something a little more threatening? There is no time during which Asriel matures physically past his youth.

+Sir La Mence I think of it as the entire time before he transforms since your in a fight mode with him which is why he's black and white I think he's already transformed which is why his voice doesn't change but then after the fact after he calms down then it changes back

I was listening to Undertale remixes while working on an essay, and hearing Asriel's voice at the beginning startled me a little. But only because it surprised me, Sonicmega did an amazing job! Love the way he yelled out Asriel's name, I feel like if that were in the game, it would've added some amazing tension to the situation.
