Its the right tempo of "Lupang Hinirang" So no violation plus they were invited to perform it that way for the Philippine Independence Day Celebration. I agree its really good.

The song is “o Bayan Ko”, an original composition of Ryan cayabyab for Independence Day and a portion of the Lupang Hinirang lines was incorporated in i’that composition, so it was not actually singing the whole national anthem itself.

Hi. If you'll notice Lupang Hinirang was sung in a low volume by the choir while sb19 is singing the "Bayan ko". In conclusion, the Lupang Hinirang wasn't sung in portions.

It was explained by a historian, Mr. Xiao Chua, after the event that SB19 did not violate the flag and heraldic code for changing the tone of Lupang Hinirang. They did not sing the National Anthem with Bayan Ko, but this is the last part of an entirely different song by National Artist Ryan Cayabyab entitled “O Bayan Ko” (not “Bayan Ko” ) which ends with lyrics that will eventually mix with the Lupang Hinirang. It was sung as a concert piece and not as a National Anthem in the beginning of the program. This song was composed during the Centennial of Philippine Independence and resurfaces in times of great stress like the COVID 19 pandemic.

it's not the national anthem ovela that part of national.anthem was included on the original lyrics of the song composed by Mr Ryan Cayabyab emtitled "O, Bayan ko" so it's ok if they samg that part as remix

Lupnag Hinirang is very hard to remember even us Filipino sometimes we say 'Bayang Magiliw' but again we would remember its 'Lupang Hinirang'

Beautiful Rendition,eh I was wondering too about the use of the Phil Anthem here. It was in the mix with ‘Bayan ko’ ko. It wasn’t fully sung . Don’t get me wrong this sends me chills every time and just the flow was seamless. I know it’s an old song but still…..

SB19 did not do a remix of the national anthem, but this is the last part of an entirely different song by National Artist Ryan Cayabyab entitled “O Bayan Ko” which ends with lyrics that will eventually mix with the Lupang Hinirang (the national anthem). The song is meant to be a concert piece. So, no disrespect committed here.

This does not violate the National Anthem though. The title is "O Bayan Ko" a composition of Mr. C combined witn lines from Lupang Hinirang. Composed originally for Philippine Centennial Celebration if Im not mistaken. So basically SB19 just followed the composition as it is.

Hi ovela. :) If you'll listen carefully Lupang Hinirang was sung in a low volume by the choir while sb19 is singing the "Bayan ko". In conclusion, the Lupang Hinirang wasn't sung in portions or remix as the choir started it from the beginning and sung it to the end. 😊

Actually in our elem day we sing 3 lupang hinirang, school hymn, region 3 hymn and friday afternoon during flag retrt we sing ang bayan ko😂

Correct Ovela. It’s strictly a National Anthem. True, the PH National Anthem composition is so solemn. Please Listen to the Filipino American Symphony Orchestra : Stars Spangled Banner and Lupang Hinirang by Robert Shroder. OMG you can feel up to your spine. I like the US and the French National Anthem are beautiful too. I’ll check thé Algerian National Anthem.

that is not a national anthem. it has been explained already. its a Ryan Cayabyab arrangement that has been used during the centennial independence celebration and during the pandemic.
