SBB Re 4/4 II 11108 & 11379 with IR37 "1979" in Basel [28.01.20] 

I saw an interesting combination in January of the oldest Re 4/4 II 11108 in Swiss Express livery together with one of the newest of the class, the Re 421 379 with it's new advertisement for the line Zürich - Münich. The Re 421s were retrofitted with German equipement in 2003 to allow travel through Germany and Austria.
To make things even better, the second oldest Re 4/4 II, the sister locomotive 11109 (the only other locomotive in Swiss Express livery) brought the train to Basel together with the Re 4/4 II 11130. For a brief moment, the two oldest locomotive cross paths as the pair that arrived shunt past to their next train.
