One of the best wildland videos I've seen! Suggestions for improvement, leave the county fire dispatch off. Pick up the San Bernardino NF fire or forest net. I think they were the "ordering point" for the fire, not the county. That way you know who is coming. Locking one scanner on air to ground was a good move, you can hear and see everything as concerned air tactics. You were likely listening to 169.1125, A/G Ch 59. the primary initial attack air to ground for the San Berdo NF. I didn't hear that much traffic from "Air Attack" and wonder if all of his traffic was on a Victor (VHF AM) frequency of 136.000 MHz. It also might have been on one of the VHF FM Air to Air Tactics, which for the San Bernardino is Primary, 169.1250 A/T Ch 46 and Secondary, 168.7250 A/T Ch 65. Air Attack is like the air traffic controller over a fire who also communicates with the ground to determine air resource priorities and makes some decisions based on what can be seen from an aircraft circling 2500 feet above ground level. I don't know if you listen to ground tacticals, but they can be key in finding out who and where the problems are. Initial attack tactical on the San Berdo NF is National Interagency Fire Center Tac 2 on 168.2000. In their primary radio group they show the 3 USFS Region 5 (Pacific Southwest Region) tacticals of R5 Tac 4: 166.5500, R5 Tac 5: 167.1125 and R5 Tac 6: 168.2375. Ground tacticals can get busy as you will hear decisions about where the line should be located, need for additional hose, whose water tanks are running low, need for gas/oil for saws but, also things like safety problems ["watch your back those heavies (fuels) are crowning," "Division Alpha - Vista Grande (hotshot crew) get the Type I helo (on this fire that big yellow helo) to drop on that finger (narrow progress of fire) right at its head, we won't get up there for at least 20 minutes."
