Every time I hear someone say “i forgot to turn the co2 on” I think to myself “why isn’t there a pressure switch in the co2 line to make lights blink on the dash of there isn’t pressure present.” Finally I see someone have one.

you can take the hard drive out of that old laptop and hook it up to a PC or another laptop using a USB to hard drive data cable. if the hard drive is shot you can put it in the freezer for an hour and take it out and it'll work long enough to get the data off of it.
