Woolie, on the other hand, is disturbingly eager to throw away his humanity in search of the eldritch truth, because he knows whatever he manages to pull out of the Technicolor abyss that he's sunken into will inevitably redeem his lost honor.

I don't understand how Pat dislikes Kirby's movement. Except for the really early games, I've always found Kirby's controls to be rather smooth with just the right amount of "floaty".

The funniest part about this is that this is literally the same thing Pat and Woolie used to do with Monster Hunter on this podcast, but in reverse.

The first Kirby absolutely had a hard mode. A code screen pops up at the end after DeDeDe and you have to enter the code on the title screen.

Coming back to this a few months later and listening to these boomers going "I don't want to use the 3DS because the Switch completely makes it outdated and all games released to it after Switch is a declaration of war" is probably the dumbest shit I've heard and it's the kind of mindset that video game companies exploit. It's also really funny now that the SUBSCRIPTION shit of Nintendo Online for Switch has been revealed and that's the only way they'll get an e-shop. God.

I *HATE* Nintendo games and all games with a “childish” look (kinda ironic since videogames are literally interactive toys lol) but when I was at home bored 1 day I fucked around with my twins Kirby game on Switch and was instantly amazed at how fun it actually was. Before I knew it I had played for like 2 hours and was legit excited each time I saw new enemies because I wanted to see how cool they would make Kirby look and what type of sick shit they would let me do next. The game feels awesome to play and is really fresh and inventive especially to a gamer like me. So yea I can definitely understand some Kirby love
