This was definitely Yipes at his peak, not that he isn't top notch now, but wow, some of the mixup/execution/spacing he was accomplishing in these games were insane.
24:31 - Justin F'ing Wong .... 25:19 - Sanford is a genius here. If you play frame by frame you see Sanford knew Justin was going to the other side and grabbed him from the mix up.. wtf......
Thing is Krone was complaining about Triforce, who was off stage, around 4 (or more) feet behind him. Triforce was also yelling to the crowd not at Krone.
@muchikun Excellent question. I've always quietly thought so, and asked him about that at ECC one year. He says no. Rumor has it that he's wanted to use low tier teams in major tournaments finals, but the organizers wouldn't let him. He seems to like a challenge: whether or not that entails perhaps coming out of the loser's bracket is something that I don't know. =)
@zachdms I'd be upset about that too. I'd probably have to reach back and dickslap that guy that yelled "oh you fucking dipshit" if that was me. I don't know why people have to be that way. That isn't hype, it's just bad sportsmanship.
@zachdms I noticed man. I think I've been checking out your videos since 2002. The people I play with don't act this way. I have an mvc2 arcade game so I usually host. If someone starts acting like that at my place I just make them leave. Thanks for all the great vids over the years Preppy.
DSkehan2004 I was only able to identify one of them. The Artic Stage is from Tekken 5 Dark Resurrection called "Aurora Australis" or it could be the Tekken 5 ver. of the song
@nigmar I hate it too and it's certainly cost me plenty of matches, but -- it's not like this is unique in the annals of Marvel history. =\ Generally US crowds are bad spectactors. =\
This was a legendary battle from the mvc2 god tiers. Sanford showed his skills with santhrax, Yipes the best MSP Player and Justin Wong who cameback and won the challenge. I started form zero lol
21:23 ohhh no sanford why do u waste all your meters for chip damage, his sentinel play before was sooo godlike should have sticked to that and kept the meter for a possible guardbreak.
