Read below to know how to have the unlocked fps. Watch it on TV or monitor to catch the new framerate.
This is a video of SBK-08 with unlocked framerate on a real Xbox 360. It runs very close to 60 fps in not so complex tracks (eg. without trees). The framerate lowers when there are lot of opponents on screen or in the rainy trakc.
To get the unlocked framerate you have to:
1. You need a RGH modded Xbox 360 (actually, I haven't tried on a retail Xbox 360 with this game installed. Perhaps with software like Horizon it should be possibile insert the modded xex, but I don't suggest it because with unlocked framerate the GPU temperature rises)
2. Take the defaul.xex in your SBK-08 folder on the xbox 360, copy and paste it in your PC to uncompress/decrypt it with xextool (follow my tutorial for the decrypting/uncompressing part, here • Xbox 360 - Tutorial: ... )
3. Open the decrypted/uncompressed file in HxD
4. Search for these locations (CTRL+G):
Option 1:
2A5140 (822a3140 in absolute values) and change 39 60 00 02 to 39 60 00 00 (so, 02 to 00)
NOTE: if you don't find it, be sure you have selected "hexadecimal values" in the research window and you don't have a title updated (TU) game or another region game (ex. PAL/NTSC or Media ID). In that case try to search for these values. The strings to change are the first:
39 60 00 02 48 00 00 10 39 60 00 01 48 00 00 08 81 61 00 50 81 5f 2e 4c 55 6b 40 2e 80 9f 00 30 55 4a 4e 7e 81 3f 00 38 7d 4b 5b 78 7f 04 48 40
5. Save the file as you prefer (eg. SBL-08_unlocked.xex)
6. Copy this file in your folder on the Xbox 360, then start it by file manager or rename in default.xex (after renamed the original one) to start it from the cover in your dashboard
