Reminds me of the crazy ass R636 that EDR Performance built for Gabe Rap, making 140+ rwhp and sub 340lbs! Can't wait to see how yours performs in the end :) Thanks for sharing so much of this build on IG!
Hi Chad, first time viewer, will be subscribing and "liking".. I am looking at purchasing a 2017 R6 here very soon that I will be planning on racing next season..and whoah! That R6 was Beautiful! So clean and I have to say, I am truly hoping to make my new one look that sharp and am sure functional. I have a ton of questions, particularly in regards to motor (internal) upgrades, what should I do first? What recommendations do you have in helping to build/gain more usable power while still keeping it somewhat reliable.. I can't afford a new motor every 6 months or even once a year, so I need to get a good year or two out of each motor if possible. I am racing at the club level in the Novice group but am a getting quicker each time out. Would appreciate ANY advice and help I can get. Thanks!
Maybe down the road. I'm currently not fast enough to be competitive in the class that this bike would be legal for. I need a B bike, or a B motor. I hope in a year or two I'll be ready for that class.
Nah, go for it! I thought the same doing track days for ever before doing AFM this yr. Racing has improved my riding skills 10-fold. You'll start as a novice anyway and the skill levels for novice groups are all over the place.
