This is possibly the only video where Hani sang every part of hers including the harmonies instead of her normal voice-overs. I just can't help it but to adore how talented this lady can be. I want to see more of this from Hani if possible. Solji's voice is totally out of the world. Probably one of the best vocals in the kpop industry now.
as a fan from her vocal, the exid story will always desperates me.... she got so bad line since up&down (even worse on the title track) hope for somethink more jazzy from her
Hani's voice is just in the lower range Her low notes are beautiful and she uses it for that jazzy tones she always does Give her songs in her range she can execute them beautifully
She can sing indeed. It's just that she sings in the low notes in the world where singers considered awesome when they can sing high notes. Idol songs are usually high pitched also.
Think about this logically. What is the purpose of the face and what is used to see the face? Is Hani not the visual just because she is the face even though the face has more exposure than the visual when in fact, these are arbitrary "roles" assigned to members who contribute the least vocally to the group?
+emmetea i think "the face" means that she represent the whole group, whereas the "visual" means that she (junghwa) supposed to look good from head to toe Hani's pretty much a dork off stage and she does many "ugly (but cute af) things so she can't be "visually pretty" most of the time, especially on TV shows
Kent Gaga I think that when people have to try hard to explain these group roles it means that the titles are arbitrary. Members just need a designation aside from their names. I think fans take these titles way too seriously.

While it’s totally understandable why most people think Hani can’t sing, it’s still so sad to read and hear comments like that. Most EXID songs-up & down and post-are mostly very pop-y songs. Hani has a pretty deep sultry voice perfect for jazz, soul and rnb so she tends to adjust her pitch on their songs because that would suit the songs better. While she can’t belt real high like Solji & Hyelin is, she has a very unique voice which I think many can agree with. Also, pre up & down, she’s their lead vocal while Hyelin is the sub, then they changed positions post up & down bc their songs were shifting to a “different genre”. Idk it just feels sad when people say that when she can definitely compared to a whole lot of the entire gg population. Still, if ever they comeback as a group again, I kind of wish they could stray a little bit away with the usual genre and format, experimenting things a little bit and showcasing a different side to their talents.
.. ㅎㄷㄷ 잘하신다 근데 하니누나? 노래 부를 때 노래를 부른다는 느낌보다는 음을 하나하나 내는 것처럼 보이네요.. 음 하나하나 음정과 톤을 고르기 바빠서 노래 전체적인 그림을 놓치는 느낌 ㅠ 근데 그렇게 톤을 고를 수 있다는 것만 쳐도 존경 ㅠ (젠장 내 목) 그거랑 처음 다른 씽어분 음이탈 제외하고는 잘봄 ㅎ
