On another trip to the former Ang Mo Kio Village, arriving directly opposite the original village centre according to maps from the 1960s. I found rubber latex collection cups above a former house, which is evidence of the rubber plantations that once dominated Upper Thomson.
As for 8161S, lots of hot air, but sounds good when rushing. Strange though, Service 166 was rarely the kind of service that does that a lot. It seems almost every trip this month has been rushing. That does not reflect well on our Land Transport.
