anybody who follows the steps in this video is asking for problems...You press the bearings on the shaft AND into the housing BEFORE you put the seal thrust disc in..REASON: the bearing behind the seal can and does push out when you press the shaft into it..Also you tighten the impeller nut first as if you dont...the clutch thrust assembly can spin on the shaft blocking the oil hole....Also you DO NOT use grease when assembling the supercharger..You want to use OIL...NOT grease.......Like i said..follow these instructions and you will be replacing your Scer and or engine ssooner than later...
Do both bearings have open faced side pointing towards the slip washer end of the shaft? Video kinda indicated otherwise unless those bearing were open faced on both sides?
Hey question. Im changing washers on mine sc and everyone is stacking them like this )()() but rive directions said to stack them like this for more friction)))() ,,is that really way to go??
The ship guide says to use the gear holding wrench and hold the gear while turning the he nut at the end of the shaft woth a torque wrench, and it gives the force a new clutch should slip at but I am not going to share that number because I doubt they're all the same and I don't want someone too inexperienced to do the rebuild mess their SC up with my SC specs
