Sounds like a cool show that showcases the builder a bit more than just 1 model in a sea of dozens of others.

A very different & interesting show/judging concept. I really like this idea. Congrats on the awards that you earned. I 1st saw the T-Bird fiberglass kits back in the 90's at the Turkey Run show held at Daytona international speedway.

What a breath of fresh air. I like this show alot and the format is different and a nice change. I like the feedback idea. I have been to shows where the judges could not tell me what I needed to improve. Thanks for sharing Mark.

Hey Mark, first off thanks for showing us that car! WOW! I love me some oldies! Second: you're absolutely right about talking to those armor & military guys. They really DO know their stuff about detail. I've learned SO much from the club guys around here! I've not yet done a show, to where I have a model for display & to be judged? I'm hoping that in the near future I am able to do so? I am working on about ten projects right now! Some for a few other people, and around five for me. Getting used to my airbrush, as well as some more detailing on my builds. Trying to make show worthy builds for some shows coming in the Fall? We'll see what happens? But keeping it fun and enjoying it all, cause that's what it's always about right? God bless you & Ms. Amanda brother. Keep it going, be happy & I'll see you in the next video!

Marko, Yes, that T-Bird is a kit, I think that you can still find it in Hemmings Motor News, used to be in there every month. That said, nice job done on this one!

I think that judging was organised realy good based on this video you shared. The feedback from the judges seems to be clear and constructive like you said

I honestly can't give my response to the show, I've never been to a show. In fact, I never knew there were shows until I got back into the hobby in 2022. Can't wait to get to a show!

awesome judging format. I built a "Midnight-Z" years ago that I am in the process of converting to an IROC race car... Those wire wheels are sweet.

I’ve only been to one show/contest so far, and it was just as you described the majority of them to be. I was intrigued when you first mentioned this new/different format, and now that you’ve followed up, I really like it. I hope it’s a format that catches on. Very cool show format. Im good friends with a club president in Mass and they are looking at making changes to there judging. I'll be sharing this with him. Thank you. Excited to see what you do with that camaro....

The 1979 body Style

A couple of things that I interpreted differently in the rules. 1. The juniors are permitted to enter a higher class if they desire. However they would not be considered for best junior awards. 2. The final score is SUM of the top three judge scores not the average. I agree with you that the rules package was very clear, the show was well organized, and the club was very friendly. I think I recognized the T-Bird as a SCMA member's car.

Interesting format for sure. I really like the idea of the notes and/or seeing the Judging sheets. No better way to improve, than to know your flaws! I think the point system could be broader to show more fidelity/accuracy in the scores. Easy to give someone one tick down from perfect but how close to "perfect" is that? Thanks for sharing all the details of the show!
