The concept of the Electoral bonds itself is a great way in ensuring the movement of cash flow to political parties in respect to transparency but the way it is implemented is in violation of RTI. The Supreme Court of India did not immediately find the electoral bonds scheme unconstitutional in 2017 because the matter required a thorough judicial review to determine its constitutionality. When the scheme was introduced, it was challenged in the court, but the legal process takes time, and the court has to consider various factors and arguments before making a decision. Hence the weighted and careful delay in decision by the Sc.

Thank you to all our respected Judges of the SC. At the same time, we as citizens of India, also should send the right candidates in the Lok Sabha/Vidhan Sabha. Most of us takes election lightly, everyone suffers. Lack of required discussions leads to incorrect policies and then more options for corruptions. Don't select between more corrupt and less corrupt candidates. Just reject corrupt candidates and vote only for clean, and devoted candidates irrespective of religion, region or caste. We all are one nation. Don't let them to divide us on any basis and take our advantage. Select the best candidate who can stand with you in developing your constituency, can raise your problems in the Parliament/Legislative assembly. Please don't vote for short term gains or make your decision based on advertisements. Support those hidden gems from your constituency who may not have enough money for organizing big rallies. These days parties are competing with each other. Use of veto system in parliament is real example of "party first" instead of "Nation First". May be it would be a good experiment to send independent candidates to the Parliament/Legislative assembly this time OR use NOTA if you don't find any good candidate. By this we all will be contributing our part in making our nation a strong nation full of values. Jai Hind

There should be a Trust created by law, headed by Supreme Court judge and eminent non-partison personalities being members, and that trust should hold the funds donated. Those giving donations should be known. The Trust should distribute the funds to parties according to some appropriate formula.

REASON: Social Media will attack the company if they donate some opposite party A company donating Party A: "Bhakt" company. A company donating Party B: "Anti-India" company. A company donating Party C: "Chinese Agent" company. etc.

@@Ts-kj7bq I am just curious that can there be a quid-pro-quo between judge and someone? May be in collegium while they appoint themselves? So shouldn't judges reveal all their income and assets periodically? Another problem is if a party or electoral candidate is corrupt they can be voted out. But judges who have do much power are all non-corrupt? 😅

Right to information applicable everwhere except in collegium system and judges wealth is what I feel.as a common man. Everything else including our defence secrets should be in public domain is what I understand after listening to lordships

Thank God that the independence of the judiciary has not been breached/has not been allowed to be breached, by the legislature/executive. This is vital as the SC is the last resort to obtain justice & also acts as a check & balance on the govt, from turning tyrannical. Hope that the SC will never let the people of India down.

Very unreasonable/highly objectionable argument made by SG. In the ananomity why people give such huge amount of money only to a particular party and not others, cause there must be quid pro quo. It's a bare and known fact as the corporates are not fools to waste such huge amount of money. Even the so called corporates are not following the set guidelines of it. CJI sir, are rising very valid questions but we know that he (SG and support staff) have no answers as it was ill motivated. The Crux is to have upper hand (in the ensuing general elections) in political scenario by the ruling party by handicap the other political parties to dump in elections to win. I am certain that the SBI will never give the correct picture of it because the pressure is enormous and high. They simply twist the matter even onlookers can easily know their intentions. Suppression of facts by all means!!!
