If you are sitting here and browsing and looking for a perfect setup tell you what, you can shut down your pc right now and forget about trading. You asking me this question, I can tell you're the ones who will blow their account even with a good setup just because they lacked discipline - eyes bigger than pockets. I may be wrong but I bet you're not trying this on your own by backtesting or demoing. Consider using the technique and see the results for yourself, you're gonna learn more than just waiting for people's comments and results.

Looks promising on EURJPY AND EURUSD. Did you find other pairs? My issue is that opportunities arrive when Im ussually at work (I live in the UK and opportunities are during Asian session when Im asleep and between London and NY when Im usually at work ).

Good to know this worked for you. Just curious to know (because he talked about applying filter to avoid false signals) - after the first candle indicating RSI oversold or overbought, should we enter trade after the second candle CLOSING above/below first candle. I have this doubt because from the earlier examples (9:26 and 8:50) he mentioned in the video, I see most of them have made a huge gain right on the second candle close. So if we wait for the second candle to close would we not miss on the juicy profits. Alternatively, lets say on a long trade if I chose to enter trade immediately when the second candle goes above first candle high, though it could still close below creating a tall wick. Will that be the right way to go about this trade? I hope you understand my confusion. If you do, please tell me what you would do or did in your trades. Thanks.

So if the Candle closes and pulls the RSI out of "oversold" we do not enter at the open of the next candle, we set a buy stop at the high of the candle that pulled the RSI out of the "oversold" right?

You can use simple or exponential MA, makes no real difference.

Works great! Especially when you use it alongside price action trading and adding a 200day ema. Once the 50 ema breaks the 200ema then i consider taking long trading and the opposite for shorts. Thanks for the information this video helped me alot.

I trade forex on 15 minute chart.I would think that to determine trend direction I should look for trend only on 1 hour chart & 4 hour chart(both).However trend on daily chart would be too far removed from field of action/activity.Then I could enter position using finer 5 minute chart when its direction aligns with trend determined on 1h,4h.Please comment how would do it--this question is for trading forex only.

Sir, My experience is that best guide to any market analysis is 3 period RSI. If 3 period RSI is consistently above 50,maket direction is up & vice versa. Of course as filter one could check direction of 14 period RSI--it should be going in the same direction(if it is above 50, IT IS EVEN BETTER BUT NOT A MUST).Trading 15 minute chart one should look for direction from one hour chart--that is just common sense.Lower time frame have more noise--trader wants early entry but has to avoid random signals below 15 minute time frames.Avoid low reading condition on ADX.

Regardless of whether or not you scalp, swing trade, or invest and hold, this video contains a profoundly important point at the very beginning of the video. Your indicators must measure DIFFERENT characteristics of the market within the time frame you have chosen, otherwise confirmation is completely useless. This may very well be the most important video TSM has ever done. PS: If you trade forex, I highly recommend doing a comparison with between the RSI, and the relative vigor index RVI to see if you like it better. Either indicator can make for a powerful exit indicator if you tune it just right. They're not always that good for entries in forex however.

Hello. I am backtesting this strategy on ETHUSDT on 5 minute TF. To be brief, we have 3 candles, yes? 1. Candle which meets the criteria (rsi(3)30, price>50p ema for long) 2. Signal candle (to understand at which price we will set our BUY stop order to go long). 3. Candle at which we place our order and open the position (the candle which appears after signal candle). Am I correct? Your answer would be appreciated..

It has to be 3 candles for this strategy because you wont know if the second candle takes you out of the range until it closes.

Actually I think I understand. We aren't entering immediately at the close of the 2nd candle (signal candle), we are entering at the high or the low of that candle, and if the next candle does not hit the top or bottom of the signal candle, then the signal is invalid.

The Pros don't use ADX or 50EMA. They use RSI MACD and the price range from hi too low. That's it.

Last week's Ichimoku strategy was fantastic and your TSV video as well! This one without an experienced trader using some discretion I don't see it being very profitable after doing some back testing on EURUSD 5 minute. . I don't see any point to the ADX, it's not filtering out very many trades. One idea that's looking good to me is disregard the ADX. Just use 50 EMA and RSI. Whatever candle sent the RSI into overbought or oversold, for longs wait for a bull candle to Close above the bear candle that put the RSI into oversold as an entry for long and do the opposite for shorts. Seems to filter out a lot of bad entries.

back tested very good .. to add more trades .. the reversal is optional but very good .. the RSI shows divergence ..but signal is wrong side of the 50 EMA ... Wait .. BOS .. break of structure + BOS of 50 EMA .. back across .. in direction of the reversal .. in other words if price is going down .. you see divergence ... then BOS up over last pivot .. BOS above the 50 EMA ... this cancels the 50 EMA rule .. when dips below the 50 EMA to hit the over sold ADX ...all same entry rules ... reversals are worth taking the ROI is greater .. often a big move ..... my back testing risk @ 2:1 50% .. then B/E stop and see what you feel ..

Where is the filter to avoid loss in buying and selling? Do we depend on the shape of the candle..? Incomplete strategy .. I give you the solution .. It should show the curve of sellers and buyers of the indicator ADX.....Green 4 buyers and Red 4 sellers....then all be good

I already use a setup like this, but I use the dmi instead of the adx. The dmi indicator is the adx line along with a + line for bullish and a - line for bearish to make it a bit easier to read.

Your videos are really excellent. Clear concise and thorough! Questions ~ I, for now, only trade stocks...does the scalping system explained in this video work better with stocks that have higher float levels...say above 50m shares? Also is there a stock price that is more conducive...say between $4 and $7/share? FYI - I trade with a $5k account for now... Thank you in advance !!!

I don't understand why nobody uses RSI as momentum indicator? Instead of buying when it dips below 20, buy when it goes above 80. There you got the momentum signal

In my brokers app adx settings says 14 period, 14 smoothing period, y, n.... Now how to set this to 5 period & 30 level... That is why it is very important that you show how you are setting it rather than setting it prior and your settings aren't visible as well.
