Scammer call - Fake HMRC debt phone call tries to get Amazon Gift Cards from me, so I play along !

This guy called claiming to be from HMRC saying there is a court order out for my arrest regarding tax fraud, fake of course but i took this guy for a ride for over 20 minutes. he asked me to drive to local super market to buy lots of Amazon gift cards then whatsapp the cards to him. I had to fake being in the car while on the phone to him (luckly I had car sound effects on my pc :) )
His mobiel number for Whatsapp is 07765 083980 but guess its a PAYG.
I sent him a whatsapp saying i have this recording and will make him famours on RU-vid, so here it is, please share.
At least I held him on the phone for over 20 minutes so he could not try and rob anybody else.
If anybody knows his voice then please report to police or DM me, thanks.

The "Indian" caller made a few errors. "State", "Court House" and "Criminal Lawyer" are essentially US terms, not UK, so he have himself away there. It may seem racist, but I'm sorry, but I just put the phone down on anyone with an Indian or Pakistani accent. Too bad if it is genuine - firms in the UK should consider this problem unfortunately.

A representative of Chase Bank called me from an Indian call center once and I almost blew the guy off until I realized he was legit. Most companies have gone to the Philippines or Eastern Europe.

hmrc will never contact you with regards to how much money you owe them. for them to do so would be like the police calling you up and giving you advance notice that your house will be raided next week.

I'll have to make four plain pieces of card with the words "Go", "f**k", "your" and "self" on them, and take a picture and send that to the scammer.

Given the number of women with English accents call me on a regular basis offering me compensation for the accident I don’t remember having, I’d just say don’t enter into conversations on the phone full stop.

She has invited me to visit her and stay in her Herbert Baker Colonial era chalet every couple of years. I didn't realise that this platonic relationship was a sham. I’d have told him I didn’t have the money and he’d have to take me to court. Interesting to discover what he would do. My favourite scammer was a personal accident scam. Calling about the accident I never had. Getting into the conversation and keeping him talking as long as possible. I tell them that the accident was really bad, I was so badly injured, “I died”. Followed by appropriate expletives.

1450 pounds, enough for jail? We have proof that you have done it deliberately, so we will ask if you did this accidentally? Logic? A uk prisoners costs 41,000 pounds a year, so 5 years of imprisonment costs the tax payer 205;000 pounds. Not to mention the costs getting back into society, mental health assistance and the loss of a tax paying person. So why would a tax office do this? And why are they able to call now and immediately escalate beyond any rational point. Nobody immediately goes to jail even if you confess to a murder.

Regardless of the accent these creeps use the same format on their scripts to try to win their trust, such as: "We will never ask you for passwords, account numbers, routing numbers" and so on.

We don't have "local State Authorities" but we do have a Supreme Court. It's the highest Appeal Court in the UK as well as criminal matters. Pretty much same as the SCOTUS.
