Correct. We been sending overseas aid out of our tax payments and charities we put to out of our iwn pockets. The racist nationalists of India and Africa pocketed those contributions totaling trillions of pounds and gave their own poor almost nothing. Then they told their people we are racists who cared nothing for them. Are we mad? You bet we are. Now we have these so called asylum seekers coming to UK and calling us racists. I wanted to say this: I’ve been a fan of your content for a long while and I appreciate and support everything you guys do. I was recently a victim of a series of hacks that left me losing a lot of personal memories, my sense of security, and as of last week, almost $300 off of my own hard earned money :( this has been ongoing since January and continued to this month. Nobody appreciates what you guys do more than I do. Keep doing what you’re doing, make these scumbags pay for their crimes!
Last I checked, scamming is thief, and thief is a crime. India is a member state of the United Nations International Court of Justic (UNICJ) which has the power to go into their member state countries and deal with the criminal elements/ criminals that a government can't handle or refuse to handle for whatever reason. Perhaps the UNICJ should be your next course of action since the government seems to be in bed with the criminals. I can't understand how people can deceive others and still feel good about themselves.
It’s been clear all along that the police have been taking kickbacks from scammers. There needs to be an international task force initiated to investigate this kind of crime. They need to give it more power to override local authorities. This is why they stick to operating these call centres in poorer countries. It’s easier and cheaper to corrupt people that have less money. I can’t imagine police in rural India earn a huge wage, and they don’t care if people more well off than them lose money.

that's not how the internet works even if you "cut the cable with india" the packets being routed from india to the US would still reach the US as there would be other indirect routes to do so, even if the US banned all indian IPs they could still bypass it easily by routing all their traffic through a VPN elsewhere. The only way to stop it would be to created an intranet/internal internet that doesn't connect to any other country at all if there is a will there is a way, stopping communication altogether between nations won't solve anything if the problem is not fought in its root. this happens partially because countries like india are poor and partially because local authorities suck at combating this time of activity (I bet there's other reasons this happens in india and elsewhere)

First step should be stop placing Call Center in India, because now people are familiar with hearing "indian's english" in phone, it's nothing especially that you call to call center and you talk with broken arm english Indian. It should be. Technically, there are many way to isolate single country, especialy CIA and MOSAD are able to do.

Corruption is there but not at the highest level in India right now. The problem is that the police are under local government and only the CBI (like FBI) is under the federal government. There is a reason why most of these scammers operate from Kolkata. The Chief Minister (like a governor in the USA) is extremely corrupt woman. The hope is that the CBI picks up these cases. I heard that recently they arrested a big kingpin of these scammers.
Their economy benefits from the scams. Scams bring more money into circulation, and the economy and companies are able to grow. Is like asking them to stop millions of dollars from circulating their economy.
We live in such corrupt societies under such corrupt regimes. Not just happening in third world countries, but everywhere. I feel for the generations to come, they’re the ones that are going to have to put their lives on the line to clean out this greed and corruption and restore some kind of democracy.
