I used the "Just Wait a Moment" song as hold music while I "searched" for documents. They absolutely hated it and asked me to stop. I didn't, and they haven't called back. That was 3 months ago.

I swear sometimes they convince themselves what there doing is a genuine service and that they aren't scamming, they also sometimes appear to grow fond of kits characters and even tell them about other scaams or previous situations that kit tells them happened they'll say that's a scam ma'am you were scammed! Even though you'd think that would mess up there own scam pointing this out! The whole thing is crazy at times it goes down hundreds of different loops and rabbit holes.

@kayleigh kelsie-mae So true! I feel like they try hard to convince themselves with their lies so that they can sound convincing and I feel they really believe they are legit trying to help. They are pathological liars who emotionally manipulate people to get what they want. So effing twisted. In my country, scammers victimize students and old people through texting. Got scammed off 200 bucks (8k in my country) in college and that was like my living expenses for 2 months. I was 16 and still got my allowance from my parents. The scammer pretended to be a friend and when I had given 200 bucks worth of prepaid load he was gone. Then I found out it wasn't my friend who contacted me. I was so ashamed I couldn't tell my parents. It's been 10 years yet I still could not tell them. I just felt so guilty and stupid for falling for the scam and it spiraled me into 4 years of depression. These people are scum of the earth with no guilty conscience and perfect psychopathic tendencies. So When I found this channel 2 years ago I just felt so vindicated and grateful. I now only have a handful of contacts even in facebook because I am still wary.

I actually think that was more because he knew she would be harder to give instructions to than the grandson. So, it was not out of concern for her safety, but because it was an easier situation for the scammer to deal with.
