There were other businesses there that I know had people in there because I could hear them. I'm just not sure why their reception was open, the iPad didn't work so even if I tried to sign in I couldn't and there was just nobody around at all.

TextNow seems to be a high end scam I bought 2 sim cards and so far nothing, it only woks on wi-fi despite having following their instructions and its been going on for more than 2 month and they reach out to try to sell other services, I even withdrew a negative comment to give them the benefit of the doubt but they are the same.
I got a scam call from one of them and then came to this video they keep calling the store i work for for the last few years I’ve worked in this company

You can't stop scammers on any network. It is really easy to setup Verizon and AT&T burner lines. It just takes longer. So there's that. I do understand your concern, just be a smart proactive user. Well done on the video. Cheers!
I can totally agree with you guys that scammers used TextNow but it really helpful for those who are working legitly... To me I think those who are receiving scams calls just report them so that TextNow can easily ban them.
Same thing with my sim card it says active but nothing is working i wonder whats going on it hasnt worked since the new plans were added to the app more bugs i guess
Believe it or not nope, most companies, even smaller companies like textnow are working remotely just because they have all the necessary equipment in their household so they can still handle customer service while home. Most of these employees utilize their homes for these types of jobs. Especially call center jobs.
Why has a scammer taken my text now number and placed scam likely on it? How do I solve this? This concern is serious. Because yes they can't control the scammers that so easily use there company to shape-shifting to do dirt to people. I don't know if this is a ex, a ex boss with multiple family members, a bitter officer. or some bitter agent.Or some strange fan, or some silly jealous man or woman working with some telecommunications company or some sort.. all I know is Text now need to get more advanced. But I get the feeling it's some strange jealous couple using telecommunications company I don't know about to do this. Because it just started happening.

I don't think so. I was just surprised that not one person was there. Usually a company will have one or two people even during a pandemic. I'm in touch with them now, so we'll see what they do.
I think the reason why people are not there most of them or all are work from home due to the covid issue around the world cases. I love text now wireless even paid for the yealy fees too keep my number safe. You are right they should stated to do a implementation of some kind of ID check on all sign up user for the FREE phone plan that will block most spam callers using Text now by verify each user now and moving forward. Due to the fact I'm dealing with identity theft I've been getting random text messages from txt now subscriber(s) and yes these fraudsters use these services because of the privacy laws yes you can report the number that txt you but at the end of the day you won't be able to get the info on the actual person who txt which sucks cause if I could get that info that person would find out real quick

I will congratulate textnow for blocking vpns but I hate the limit how long you can stay in Europe and Asia before things break. I get that is needed to have a limit but I will pay just to use it internationally if needed. We won scammers are not getting any textnow numbers to scam old people soon. The Software even knows when you use a cloud pc in the us.

It wasn't though. Sure, it would've been more effective of a visit if I was able to speak to someone...but they've reached out and I think that has made it worth it.
You should literally look up the definition of the word "literally" because you're using it wrong. It's crazy to me that with all this information available to us today, people are learning their vocabulary by listening to the content that others use a particular word. That often can work but obviously you can and will miss some key details that will show others your ignorance. The fix. Look shit up!
Maybe you didn't look things up yourself but the dictionary definition says this about it: used for emphasis or to express strong feeling while not being literally true. So, that's exactly how I used both times that I said the word in the entire video, LITERALLY.

I didn't just go to the office a tech company. I went to the office of a tech company that scammers are using to scam people. I was surprised NOBODY was there, yes. Most companies have at least one person working from the office otherwise what's the point of having your reception area open. Also, the point of the video was to get their attention...and I got it. Now, I can communicate with someone there to bring our concerns to.

I was going there to voice concerns many people have because their service is being abused by scammers a lot. I don't follow on the "making profit of it" part though.
Leave Deyo alone he is doing an amazing job helping ALL OF US stop these scammers from using this app to steal from innocent people and all you can do is complain about the music in the background.
