There are many more job scams just like this on OLX app. All of them ask of a security deposit or registration fees at first and that's it. We don't get even a single penny back they'll us that our works are not accur5and there are errors in it so they can't pay us. Please do video about it. If you need more details pls inform, I have applied for their jobs and have WhatsApp chats which they say all the details and send us screenshots of fake online money transaction details to acquire our trust

I’m a victim too. I was going through tough times and sought out to this. After almost mentally and physically tired by this labouring endeavour I gave up but they didn’t refund my registration fees. It’s been years now but it still stings and I feel I should teach them a lesson.
I was working in marketing research co. even their too its happen...first they say,they give payment after 3 months,then when we go after 3 months,they say come after more 3 months,then after total 6 months...they said which money n which job r u demanding ?n not give us any money.....so dont trust on each n every market research agency.n supervisor or executive. but all supervisor are not same some are very nice too.they give proper payment,......so before working in marketing research take record of person whether they pay or not properly then work..ty

The scammers are like the scum of the society, they act very cold. I have faced them one on one. They want the customer to hurry up and pay them. They indulge in every sorts of nasty habits like prostitution from that money. They have goons hanging outside their offices etc to keep an eye outside and on the customer.

My friend got scammed by a freelance company some months ago, he applied for a typing job and the company gave him a data entry work to do, after he did that , the company called him and told him that they have filed a case against him because the data entry he did had many errors and now their company is facing loss, a fake lawyer contacted my friend and asked him for 30,000 rupees if he wanted them not to sue him. Andd my friend fell in the trap, he paid them without even telling anyone about it(according to him, they asked him to pay the money in 10 minutes and he started panicking) I was like aahhhh, kam se kam apne papa ko to bata deta itne paise kisi ko bhejne se pehle. He called us and told the story after a few hours of the incident, phew, we tried to calm him down and suggested him to tell everything to his family. Now the situation is normal.
Same happened with me in form filling job . They said we have filed a case and said me to appear in court and sent me documents . But i never cared and said do what u can do xD . No calls after that because it was a scam . I only paid 700₹ for registration but ok amount to get to know about these type of fake jobs
I fell for it once said that my sim won 1.3 million congrats and ask me bank details along with 7000 rupee , I doubted and said why 7k they said you need to submit the amount first and will get the access to have the 1.3 million I said okay and told them Listen mam I won 1.3 million right why don't you cut the 7000 rupee from my 1.3 and send me the rest of the amount, and hung up

This same scam happened with my friend last year. He is a college going student. He wanted to earn some money. I warned him about this scam but he didnt listen to me. At last he ended up losing 8k money. He complained to police but he didnt get any help. Thanks karl and manisha for bringing this scam out. keep rocking you guys.

I've been a victim to the typing scam. They asked me to type extremely long 100 pages in less than a week. Somehow, I managed to do that for which they did not pay me. And sent another assignment instead. Also, they charged a registration fees of rupees 2,500. I was desperate and spent my precious time and money on this. They need to be put in jail. But the police couldn't care less. Thank you Karl - what you're doing is so great & helpful. I wish I had somebody warn me back then.
Something similar happened to me recently , due to the pandamic I was searching for various work from jobs well in my case the registration fee was 500₹ and I was tasked to call and inform the people mentioned on the list about a payment or a interview , etc! I worked for a month for them and when the time came for me to be paid They stop responding to my mails I was even removed from the whatsapp group! A month of work wasted , I devoted my time to them and to them it was just a joke , I could live with that but my family was affected by it because if I could have worked a real job it would have helped financially , now I am aware also guide some of friends to be careful.

My guess is they must have instructed Rishu that "If anyone asks you about this being a scam, say nothing". And that's why whenever Manisha was asking her if she knows it's a scam, she just said "nothing" :-D

My girlfriend wanted to increase her typing speed , so she found this scam online and when she didn't completed the task they started giving threats to her and sent lot of messages then she shared, the incident with me and when I talked to them they told you need to 14k . All I did was to reply them with some words of wisdom in their language and they never called again.
Well what u did was logical. I would have done the same. Long ago a scammer called me and asked me about my bank number and I was like "why?" And he said there was some problem in my account (I don't even have my own account😂), so I asked them who is the owner of the account? Can u tell me the name? He is like "we dont know" and then I ask "than how do u know its mine ?", afterall his bullshit I blocked him.
Stay safe sir, because as from the video it is clear that you had given them your aadhar details and everything, they can bully you for uncovering them. So please be cautious. I always praise you for your efforts. Thank you and keep up the good work.
There's another model where they'll first take a registration fee for the job and then you the person makes "mistakes" they'll say that it's full of errors so they are cancelling the contract. So basically you just paid for a job and then got fired for it.
I have been contacted by many scammers this year(2020). They are now targeting like due to pandemic you must have lost your job so would you like to do this typing job. All the time when I asked them is it legal, everytime they abused and hanged up. It was really important to make a video on this because a lot of students, house wives are being scammed. I really hate these scammers, I'm always watching videos on these people, Kitboga always does good videos on the scam call centers. Glad you're shining a light on this Karl and you're wife handling this like a champ shout out to her too.
This is soo true. I have been through this. When i denied the work and all, I got a call from a "LAWYER" asking for the penalty amount that was Rs. 10,000. And just cuz i gave them my adhar card (Which i shouldn't), they started threatning me to file a case and the copy will go to my house. I was soo scared. But then somehow one of my friend is a lawyer so he told me that he will handle it, just let them know that i also have a lawyer. And those guys keeps on calling and with every call they increase the penalty amount. Now i am out of it. But definitely these things should be reported.
Day before yesterday they called me, and I gave my adhar card to them which I shouldn't, and I denied to work for them they were asking money, but I didn't gave any money to them.And blocked them.
This happened with me. And they charged me initially ₹1500 stating that it's security deposit. And after 5 days of hardwork with all my dedication, they gave me a hell lot of lists stating that I made these many errors so I won't be paid. And neither did I get my ₹1500 back. 😢😓
Well i too had a stage where i believed i woulf get paid if i workded properly... am a really updated person who knows whats scam and whats not but at that time when i was unable to find an income i was desperated and found something like this online... i texted them and when they replied the scripted long msg i could find many spelling mistake in that itself lol... and with that i got my mind back and realized it to be a scam... they too wanted security deposit from 1500 all the way upto 10k based on work we are willing to take... and i curreny work as a design engineer for a good firm
A very good Eye opener. Govt of India should immediately take action against these crooks. The country should not be filled with useless crooks put them behind bars so that they get to know what life is and work hard for something.
I fell into the same scam recently, I lost my job due to the lockdown and tried to earn some money. I completed all the tasks they've given to me but they said that they'll give me more tasks which will take a week to complete I was hesitant but they pushed me to accept it. The second week I wasn't feeling well so I gave up and called them, they said that if I don't complete they'll not pay me for my previous work I god furious and said that I need he money or else I will file a case and then they statred the fake legal action thing to blackmail me. I'm planning to immigrate so I can't afford to have any case against me so I got really scared and paid them 10k by taking a loan and after all that happened I got to know about the scam and contacted the police but they didn't even care to lodge a complaint. The police is in this together with the scammers

Thank you so much I'm from Mauritius and one of my friend got this kind of job from Facebook (she was desperately looking for jobs and apparently the freelancer co was from a well-known company in quatre borne[name of the area ] and she even asked me to help her, she had already typed more than 100 records, they warned her by e-mail that they can legally sue her in case of any breach of contract. I told her that he job was sketchy, it did not seem right at all, even the recordings did not make sense ( some of people were swearing at each other). She eventually stopped but she was worried that she missed an opportunity to have a job and get paid but the holy spirit re-assured that the job was not legit and I consoled her. Now after praying she found a better job as a teacher in a Mauritian polytechnic school. Thank you for the video, I'm going to show it to her.

I just don't understand. Since *you* have to call them, they have to give you a number which can't be spoofed (otherwise they can't accept calls). Along with the emails they need to send you and the bank account, the police have plenty of information they can use to find the people behind the scam and shut them down. But... they don't.
It's disgusting that these people feel no shame or guilt for ripping people off. It's a psychopathy that is obviously inherent in some people. I just could never do something like that to people, so it absolutely amazes me when people do it effortlessly. When that women denied her part in the scam and told you one lie after another, it shows that she has no conscience. The authorities need to have harsh penalties for these people and debarring of this ,"so called solicitor", to make India and it's people be seen it a better light. I have tried to read their psychology by talking politely, that bhai mere ko bhi lelo, main bhi chutya kaatne ka kaam karunga. To sab bata diya. Sab account/ sim cards fake name se hai. Its very hard to track.

The police could only investigate crimes committed in the respective states in India . I am from Kerala and if i loose some money from my SB account due to this scammers and I am going to Kerala Police and am sure the case always pending :) Kerala Police is good but they have limitations to find these scamers from other state and bring before the law.
It depends on how much effort they want to give to it. They can call the Delhi Police and work out a solution. This happened last week when Bhopal Police came to Delhi to arrest 2 foreigners running a romance scam.
@@KarlRock State Police had to solve cases like murder and big robbery. In such cases they take a lot of risks and solve it with the help of other state police. A lot of cases they are telling even other state police leaking information to culprit , because normally the culprit having connection with his own places police . We don’t have FBI like system , of course CBI is there , unfortunately they can take only limited cases only.
India needs dedicated police team for this situation or they need a private team to do the tracking work for them. Wait I see a good start-up idea there. 🤔🤔
