@@ArmourgeddonTanks I'm still skeptical that buying a military vehicle is as easy as buying a car for a number of reasons. For one, cars for sale are just about everywhere, from numerous dealerships, independent sellers and private sellers. For another, cars are cheaper to buy than military vehicles. For a third, the logistics of purchasing a car are are simpler and quicker than purchasing a military vehicle. I could buy a car in a day, such as today. I can't do so for a military vehicle. Perhaps your experience is different, but I posit that for the average person it's easier to buy a car or truck instead of a military vehicle. Thank you for your response and feedback.
its easy, but they are expensive now..When i was 15 the 4th fighter group restaurant n orlando had a sherman tank out front as a decoration that i would go up there often and play around in..i ask if they would sell it to me and they told me $1,500 ,that was back in 1990..it needed a lot of work and my parents told me no..
That's why you ask vin numbers and serial numbers and ask them to take pictures of the pictures vehicle you are buying with it's vins and serials. So you can sue them when they send you something that you didn't want.
I can top all of these, with this true story. A family member of mine got scammed out of £40k because he 'brought' two tanks online. Never went to see them in person, never met the bloke who was 'selling' them, only ever spoke via email. The 'deal' was he would send the money and they guy would organise delivery from overseas - so having only seen pictures of some tanks supposedly for sale, only spoken to someone on email he transferred £40k into a bank account and of course that was that, he basically gave away £40k to a total stranger who probably couldn't believe his luck that he'd got someone to fall for it - £40k, gone. And no he did not get a penny back, and there is nothing he can do as it was by money transfer and a private transaction, the police unsurprisingly just basically laughed . Yeah pretty unbelievable, i think the saying goes : a fool and his money are easily parted. Imagine explaining to your mrs you just lost £40k of your savings over some imaginary tanks! I mean the price itself is ridiculously low - but to to go through with the transaction ...
I’d highly recommend buying a Russian t90 they’re basically flooding the market at the moment, it even comes personally delivered by a Ukrainian tractor driver 😂
