@@jamesw3036 there is a mechanic called "scent" in the works. it will make parasites more swarmy i think. imagine trying to kill a dispatcher then suddenly it spawns a rupter. you kill the rupter then like 15 assimilated and 3 primitives come over the hill cause they got the "scent". also global adaptation is already game ending. i can say for sure that the troubled boys crew has it toggled to false or they would do more dmg with a flint n steel then with thier end game gear.

I’m surprised you didn’t know that pumpkins aren’t actually a part of the snow golem model by default. It’s basically just something equipped on them when they’re spawned. You can sheer them off to reveal the snowman head underneath.
The marauder only spawns on phase 7, and only on certain circumstances (scent logic), and the ancient overlord is really rare, like the ancient dreadnaut
if you want to cause more chaos and probably speed up evolution phase try eat a soul bead during a bloodmoon night, I've done that before in this modpack and crap hit the fan pretty quick
@@troubled_boys it does work but just to give you a heads up before you start The Great Armageddon it'll make the game lag pretty bad and fps will drop drastically despite using a 1650 super gpu and 16gb ram and it might crash the game, so good luck if you plan to do that
That brawl at the end showed true dominance to the parasites. This parasite mod really pushed me to install more mods to help the fight because with vainilla minecraft is impossible to survive, the one that's been helping me is a Castlevania mod but I might be interested in the obsidian armor ones. Though, every armor breaks too quick on this mod and getting mending is kind of impossible lol.
lol i remember we downloaded the obsidian mod once awhile back and that thing is op. easy to make and resistance to fire, i believe. i guess at that point have a lava base inside so parasites can't harass you
@@troubled_boys on my base i have lava on the roof for any common parasite and a lava pillar for the flying ones. The rest of the base is made with reinforced cobblestone. Since the infected endermen have been spawning rarely (and the normal ones too), I expanded the base with areas 3 blocks high, just to make a proper farm, though I read CotH infects mobs so yeah...
I think you should try the Ice and Fire mod next, it's from the same creator as Alex's mobs mod, it's a great mod with a mob dictionary(Beastiary) of its own.
If this keeps up you will need modern military gear to keep up. That or just live in a bedrock crater, can't spread if there's nothing to spread to Honestly living on a pillar house among bedrock level hole sounds like the ultimate moat.
Honestly I kind of don't like how unfair scape and run is because it takes away from the essential idea of "escape and run" when the only way to actually beat them is an unbreakable fortress and god armor. I liked it better when the mod was more about prevention and paranoia, I guess? Like count the amount of times these boys have had to restart! At some point everytime it just becomes unplayable
hmm i wonder when will they add so many mods that the parasites will become trivial compared to everything else and they will call the vide scape and run parasites is trivial
btw just so yall know you havnt even seen the parasite biome yet the stuff you been seeing so far is infected biomes which revert back to normal once you kill all the beckons linked to the infection. the parasite biome only starts to happen once a beckon stage 4 appears and something Else...
you actually need to destroy the node blocks in order to destroy the parasite biome you can kill the beckon but unless the nodes are broken the biome will continue to spread
@@derrickhageman1969 well thing is this isnt a parasite biome they havent had a node spawn given the fact they havnt even had/let a stage 4 beckon spawn and grow. this is just a infected biome which will slowly revert back to normal if they kill all beckons and make sure to keep on doing so. also im pretty sure it says node in chat once it spawns and i havnt seen that in any of the videos so far.
@@Helix142 I know that it's just killing the beckon wouldn't stop the parasite biome if you destroy the node then the biome can't spread then you purify it but yes you are right on the node appearing in chat I was only pointing out the things you missed in that first comment
@@derrickhageman1969 well im not saying killing the beckon in the parasite biome will stop its spread theres technically two biomes in SRP the infected biome [yucky green and all that] then the parasite biome which starts when a node spawns red blocks spawns structures [once a colony forms and if enabled] and has a grey fog filter limiting vision unlike the infected biome.

they did all the mining and have a inventory pet that increases the fortune or something. lol i was dripped out in amethyst for the longest time so i got no idea for sure
