I'm sure you guys know, but The Flesh That Hates got a MASSIVE revamp. It's much harder now and spreads a lot faster (and it spreads in a different way). All the textures and sounds got revamped. It'd be cool if you guys checked it out soon.
A large pack of vallumraptors would go so hard. They run away and fully heal every so often in combat so you don’t have to worry about them, especially with domestication innovation.
Fungal infection added an anti infection block you find in the mods structures and is fueled by a certain type of ice. Thy also added a new sieger that is aquatic.
Pvz ost 🔥🔥 Oh yeah and you can make a tremorsaurus army as well, just breed them with dino meat, the chop form, and be there when the egg hatches, just like crocodiles
I'd suggest trying the Sculk Horde mod, it's a lot more vanilla friendly in terms of textures and general difficulty compared to other infection mods plus it's pretty high quality.
In a future update to Alex's caves, you could upgrade a pet tremorsaurus into a tremorzilla, and that could probably help against the spores...or any infection honestly
Update: So rather than directly upgrading your tremorzilla, you craft its eggs with a new boss drop , a new hullbreaker drop, and a tremorsaurus egg before nuking said egg, but the destructive potential of it is pretty useful. Also it has 500 health, so it's like having a pet warden on steroids
Alex's Mobs + Domestication Innovation are also pretty useful at keeping infected away. I tamed a Leader Elephant and gave it a heavily enchanted collar, and it shreks all of the non-boss mobs from Spore. @@Ghidoramon42069
Guns or some overpowered mods are almost essential to survive any of these infection mods *long term* unless you play your cards perfectly or do some 100 days scripting BS but we'll see seeing fungal is a lot more balanced then SRP
Mario mods and SecurityCraft are also recommended. Mario's powerups are very effective at getting rid of the infection mobs, and SecurityCraft allows for creativity while still keeping the builds safe from the mobs. It is so satisfying to run through a Sculk infested area with a Super Star.
Agreed, these infection mods don't play fair so you can't afford to either. You need powerful weapons and armor to survive and ones that keep them out of melee range especially.
Idk, I think that kinda defeats the point. I like SRP balance, at least in terms of enemy difficulty. They're not really supposed to be mods that you fight. You're supposed to run away, hide, slow it down, and survive as long as you can. Adding guns to just kill all the enemies defeats the spirit of the mod in my opinion. There's a few unbalanced things in SRP, but most of it is generally fine imo. You'll eventually be put into a position where you can't continue playing, but... that's kinda the point. It's a 'survive as long as you can' thing, you're MEANT to eventually lose. You're not meant to be able to play regular MC with one of these mods installed. Personally, I think rather than make enemies easier, what should be done instead is just give more ways to slow down the infection. It's supposed to be something you need to manage carefully or it gets out of hand. SRP doesn't have many ways to manage the infection other than just killing the mobs and crafting lures.
Have you seen the Boys or anyone try to play SRP without equally as cheap/OP mods? They usually die before any of the mid-game enemies appear. I think that Parasites has a lot of good ideas and is not just "content diarrhea" like Orespawn, but I still would not recommend it without heavy modding or nerfing the stats of enemies to have fun/be able to actually play beyond 2-4 hours of playtime.@@kalahatze

You guys are not going to have a good time since it is compatible with Alex's cave karat another RU-vidr who uses the mod found out the fungul spitter does acid and radiation damage
A netherite mining trick for Ian is to use TNT or beds to blow up netherrack at Y14. Ancient debris is blast proof so you can save picks (also you can destroy the warden shriekers before they activate)
I just roughly finished a modpack based on the last of us with spore. Named it the few of us lol. I didn't upload it anywhere cause it isn't completely finished but if you and your friends want to try it lmk.

I just want to say that I appreciate Ian for using a Dante skin. Also, I recommend downloading that gun mod with the 56 DPS Shotgun from your MutationCraft/Kevmo video, and maybe some Mario mods and SecurityCraft.
It also turns out that that mod is not for 1.20.1. Although, I really thank you for exposing me to that mod. Ian's Shotgun really helped me in a Zombie Pack once the hordes got strong enough and to the point where Vanilla weapons could not fend them off as easily.@@troubled_boys
Sadly not on 1.20.1, but there is an unofficial port of it. I consider guns necessary for these types of mods. Since the combat in these mods are just “don’t let it touch you or you instantly die/receive a wall of debuffs.”

The Infection Mods are Still OP...) , Since some of the Stuff there is, *_Quite the Nuisance for Players first time Playing it..._*
They could do it with Spore, Sculk, and Thing, I would probably leave out MutationCraft if the "Mutants" that you refer to are from that mod. It is being remade from scratch to fix all of the bad coding present in the MCcreator version.@@eushak_3340
