Plz Explain about internal and external rotation in detail. I dont know which way to turn my arm for a left scapula thats upward and right scapula thats downward. What would each of those be? Which is internal and which is external? The left is which and right is which internal or external. Im upset at you for not providing this info.

All 3 parts of the trapezius contribute to upwards rotation of the scapula, not just the upper part.

Dr. Mike, one question, if you may help with .. In standard anatomical position if one is doing Protraction and Retraction of scapula, from Plane perspective ( Sagittal / Coronal / Transverse ) which should be the correct answer?
@amarachigrace2795

Should be coronal

Thank you so much. I got a question asking to choose the main muscle involved in scapular rotation. Serratus anterior and trapezius both were in options. What should I choose?
@LonDanDoc
@LonDanDoc 2 года назад
I think the serratus anterior is more for keeping the scapula closely adhered to the ribcage so answer should be trapezius. I think.
