Scarborough - Amazing Footage of Tidal Surge 13th January 2017 

Long ago we had a great holiday in Scarborough, our first time there. One day the weather was stormy and we parked on Marine Drive facing the sea, watching the waves thunder in and break over the sea wall, the spray landing on our car. Thrilling. Another vehicle drew in beside us and there was a tap on the spray-covered window. It was a police car. Are you enjoying the sea, Sir? Yes!. Well if I were you I'd move. High tide is not for another hour. Thank you very much, officer.

Fantastic filming. The gentleman on the bench with the storm coming in towards him, gives me goosebumps.
