Her voice is for movies taking place in medieval times and there's a scene of brutal war, but there is no sound during it, just her angelic voice. And maybe some sound effects when they show people getting a vital hit. That's just me though
Can she just... sing, like, covers for LotR? GoT? Skyrim? Those kind of things because her voice is just another world, a fantasy and... Jesus, I would buy them. Totally.
@@thiagosmarques there's a difference between modern fantasy and historical fantasy. I'm just saying that maybe we should focus more on our history, rather than the modern fantasy that was created over the past few decades.
I see this in a death scene. Where they just put the death of a valueble character with people crying on the screen and her voice is there, just being magical as ever.
+UssyV When Mike Havel dies in S.M Stirling's Emberverse series, Lady Juniper's gonna be strumming this for sure. I've already cast actors for the roles: Emily Watson as Lady Juniper (because I really wanted Samantha Morton, but Emily's her doppleganger in both talents and looks) & Jake Gyllenhal as Mike.
+UssyV Too obvious. I would rather put character against unavoidable fate. For egzample i remember ending of Planescape Torment (spoiler) where after thousands of years of immortality burden finally he can really die. He wakes up in the middle of the battle (War of Hells). He takes some random axe from nearest corpse and walks down from the hills to face his real death.
I am 3 weeks too late ..I just said the same thing ...then scrolled down to see that you already said it...oh well...I see that I am not the only one that feels that way :D
Eargasm. I hope this girl doesn't get destroyed by modern pop and shit influences, her voice is massive rarity. If you ever read this don't get me wrong your could sing phone book and sound amazing, but when you get in touch with Folk/Ambiental /Celtic Rock it's just another level of sound. It's fucking mystical magical food for soul that makes you get chills and rape replay button.
+Lucy Parsons Yes, I found her channel later after my comment , she sounds great, but still this kind of music fits her best by faaaar. Just my opinion tho. =)
totally agree with every word you say..her voice is just like smooth liquid gold..it sends you back to the beauty of mideaval era..just charming..this is a real music..a real singing..not the shitty commercial music we herr everyday topping the billboard !!
She didn't fall for the mainstream pop music which I'm glad. I didn't think she would go ambient pop route either but I think she also sounds amazing doing it. Her song, Settle is amazing.
True beauty is rare but when it's there catches you by the heart and doesn't let go. So glad it found your heart in this song! Wishing you all the best!
Are you going to Scarborough Fair? Parsley, sage, rosemary, and thyme; Remember me to the one who lives there, He once was a true love of mine. Tell him to make me a cambric shirt, Parsley, sage, rosemary, and thyme; Without no seams nor needlework, Then he'll be a true love of mine. Tell him to find me an acre of land, Parsley, sage, rosemary, and thyme; Between the salt water and the sea strands, Then he'll be a true love of mine. Tell him to reap it with a sickle of leather Parsley, sage, rosemary, and thyme; And gather it all in a bunch of heather Then he'll be a true love of mine.
***** LOL! Glad you like it Aaryan - she does have a very special voice and it is one of those classic songs that will never be forgotten. Have a lovely week - best wishes Lorraine :)))

This just goes to show that a good song is a good song no matter how old it is. Some songs weather time and come out just as beautiful as when the day they were first sung. But, it also takes a voice like hers to do it true justice.
this is a real relief from the headache of nowadays loud music..pure authentic voice that I wish won't get onto the storm of loud pop music..that's a true song the float your soul in charm and smooth pleasure
It was one of those days where the rain wouldn't stop pouring and the sky refused to show any feelings or colors. As I was arranging my books in the shelf and listening to random music videos from 'the top best from the voice', you came up. The original form of this song had always been my favorite because of its beautiful lyrics and the way it sounded and it has always been in my iPod, until you formed this song into an entirely new sounding piece. It gave rise to my goosebumps which refused to go away once you stopped singing and when I heard you sing for the first time, that voice of urs just felt too dreamy. You have an amazing voice and with Simon & Garfunkel's Scarborough fair song, your version of this song is present in my playlist too.
I'm just a little girl. I just want to be held and told everything's going to be okay. This song brings me to a different world where I'm working as a young girl in a medieval land. Makes me feel things.
I rarely fall in love with a singer but this one... omg... she sounds so pure and innoncent, like a kind of irish/medieval feeling. This is so great :')
Hi there do you by any chance know what one of the older versions are and where i could find the lyrics to them? Its a shame a lot of old music has been lost.
Nana Mouskouri's : Scarborough fair was first on my list for many years but this young woman beat it down to second place. I'm putting the pieces of my heart together again.
absolutely amazing cover. I cried like a baby in my wife's arms listening to this. it sparked a fire between my wife and i that I thought was lost. I wanted to go into the military but I couldn't leave her. I know it's corny but it helped me feel again. something that I haven't felt in along time. thank you for sharing your amazingly beautiful voice.
Wie schön die Welt doch ist und ein so schön gesungenes Lied macht mir Sehnsucht auf eine Welt ohne Leid und Krieg denn Musik spricht alle Sprachen und berührt unsere Herzen und unsere Seelen
I imagine myself and my little family, a husband, son and daughter, in a field living in a little caravan in a time that i don’t even know. All i know that its not in this life, but in a world that is only in our dreams. We have our own field, our own river and my husband hunts to feed us. We play in the water every day, we run through the fields freely. Our days are filled with laughter and love. By night we have a fire outside our caravan, which is made from wood. We dance laugh and sing by fire light, embers burning around our feet. We feel nothing but love , joy and gratitude and peace. The air around us is pure. The fire burns, our children are peacefully asleep in our little wooden caravan of love. The night fades and the beautiful orange of the morning sky appears, we blow out that last slow fading ashes and we kiss and lock hands. We return to our caravan of love and lay down next to the softly sleeping , slow breathing fruits of our loins. We say farewell to the night, and hello to the fast approaching morning.. We hope for another day in our beautiful haven..our forest of love 💜
