We are honored that you think our videos are professional ! Our videos are 100% made by the two of us! No studio, backtrack, or production people. We film ourselves with a mini-cam on a tripod playing exactly what you hear. But there is always too much ambient noise outdoors. When we get home we record ourselves in our living room and add it to the video. Simple. 2 harps, 1 audio take = 100% self-made music videos.

Uh oh, I think I've now watched all of the videos posted on this channel to date--what will I ever do now? :) Well, there plenty I enjoy rewatching daily. More surprisingly, I've liked each and every one. It wasn't something I deliberately set out to do, and didn't expect to do. Really, out of 84 videos, you would think there would be at least one that wouldn't have spoken to me, but that wasn't my experience. The moral of the story for anyone hearing these ladies for the first time: there's a lot more great music waiting for you!

I discovered the Harp Twins, Camille and Kennerly, 3 nights ago quite by accident. I now have a Harp Twins playlist on my youtube channel. i have over 50 of your videos on my harp Twins playlist that have been playing nonstop on shuffle. Thank you for enjoying our music! We have released 4 new harp duet videos since this one. The most recent was a little earlier today. ;) ;) Intonation is not a factor for harps. We utilize pedal changes (or levers on our electric harps) for chromatic range. Each of our arrangements is our own interpretation to best suit our instrument and what we can perform exactly as you hear it.

Okay. Now I'm sold. This is an all time favorite tune of mine. As a kid I remember hearing my father play the Simon and Garfunkel version, then as a young man my favorite band, Queensryche did a cover that was phenomenal. Now I think I have a new favorite version. I'm blessed to have discovered you two and the beautiful music you play. I am an aspiring novelist and always looking for great instrumental music to play while I write. You two have moved to the top of my playlist.

I feel that Camille and Kennerly are two wonderfully gifted harpists that are innately in tuned two beings driven by an utter unworldly hand; possibly possessed by the spirits of playful wood nymphs or music goddesses, and or, that they're just two naturally gifted and talented creatures whose talents may have more to do with them just being passionate twins with a love for the harp. Regardless, their gifts and talents are a part of their allure; what attracts many others to listen and watch them play over and over again and again. However, I feel that their intoxicating, mesmerizing, and beguiling gift of music; their enchanting harp playing, looks and often mystical settings, may perhaps be the very secret of the ancient lure of the Siren's call. ; )

+Johnnyhumbkr ~ Thank you for the sweet comment and compliment! To answer your question: The red strings are C strings and the black strings are Fs. These acoustic Concert Grand harps have 47 strings and 7 pedals - one pedal for each note of the C scale. Each string can be 3 different pitches, flat, natural, or sharp. We change the pitch by moving each of the 7 pedals into 3 different positions *while we are playing*. Our electric lever harps (i.e. *Fear of the Dark*, The Imperial March*) and smaller acoustic harps (i.e.*Ice Queen, Crazy Train*) have levers instead of pedals. Each string has it's own lever. Each string can be two different pitches: flat/natural or natural/sharp. We have to flip levers - one for each string *while we’re playing* to change the pitch and to get chromatic pitches. Our lever harps can be in most keys, but we have to re-tune the strings for some keys. :) :) We can set the pedal harps to any key, but we have to change the pedals in order to have accidentals. So we often are changing pedals/levers while we are playing. If we change a wrong pedal/lever then we are not capable of playing the right notes, so we have to be very careful! It’s easier to explain when we can show people in person. Yes, that is us singing at the end of the video! We can sing, but we like the harp to be the focus and show what we can do with just two harps. Most people who sing while playing harp use simpler arrangements and the harp becomes accompaniment. Perhaps we will sing again in the future! In the meantime, if you would like to hear our voices again please visit our Rains of Castamere. In both cases we sang a capella directly into our laptop.

Do you mean you cannot see the video? Or do you mean you cannot download the song from iTunes? If you cannot see the video it is a RU-vid issue because this is a copyright free song - it is in the public domain. If you cannot download from iTunes we checked "make available worldwide" and we have paid licensing fees to the publishers to be legal. It is also available on CDBaby, Amazon, and Google. What is your country?
