Amen. I don't think they'll ever fess up to the viola dissing. Which is a shame. Anyway, we all now the viola is a marvellous instrument and the majority of great violinists also play viola to a top level (Mr Leong included, but also older violinists like Pinchas Zukerman, Janine Jansen, Julian Rachlin, Maxim Vengerov, Shlomo Mintz and many more). I heard this song in Ukulele version and I cringed. I just had to search for a violin version so I did. And this. My heart trembles to the "whininess" of the violin's sound. It is the perfect instrument for this piece.
