Congrats on the great book haul. I know the feeling of the hairs on the back of the neck when you find some gold nuggets. it's the exciting part of book selling for me.

It is a benefit of being on the east coast, I definitely think the access to this material is much higher due to the fact it's obviously where the country started out. Every year I'm able to uncover stuff in old houses that haven't seen the light of day for better than hundred plus years, stowed away and forgotten! Well thanks for watching, glad you enjoyed it!

My approach is very similar on bulk purchases: Roman philosopher Seneca once said, “Luck is what happens when preparation meets opportunity.” I do truly believe and practice that. Study, train your eye and as Phil has stated handle lots of material. Great buys !!!

It was such a relief, that's never happened before where there wasn't a serious collector or dealer there for the books. I just held the old card up and never wavered. Thanks for the comment and for watching!

I could not resell these books, at least for a very long time. I am fascinated with treasures like this. Did you ever hold a book in your hand and wonder how many other people held it, who they were and what they did for a living?

There are a few that will be displayed but not for sale at this time I'm gojng to enjoy them - everytime I think about that, always have, it's holding a direct connection to the past and it's a great joy, I love sharing them with people!
