@@yourfriendlyspiderkid5759 opinions are nice but you putting origins on number 1 is crazy, it wasn’t even the same studio that brought us the original game
Same could be said about everyone but Harley though -Poison Ivy wanted to kill all humans and turn gotham into a jungle -Bane wanted revenge against Dr Young -Scarecrow, as you mentioned, wanted to poison the entirety of gotham with his fear gas -Riddler, as always, wanted to defeat Batman intellectually -Idk if he should even be included here, but Two Face was out there robbing a bank All of them had their own individual agenda that wasn't related to Joker's plan (in fact, i feel like they would have all eventually turned on each other if Batman didn't stop them that night)
Funny thing is. Scarecrow on knight is the true representation of his persona, no longer needed to use his toxic gas to alter his own form to other peoples perspective to look scary since his face is ripped by killer croc.
“Fear isn't pure biology, Batman. It's more than instinct. True fear is the absence of hope. And hope is the spread wings of a Bat, shining on the clouds.”
AAAAA I LOVE THAT QUOTE, it absolutely floored me when I played the game, I remember pausing my game after he said it just to take it in, gave me goosebumps
Mine was bane, there’s three different types. Killer croc is one of them and I don’t know why but bane and scarecrow they want the Titan for something much more. You get a boat of scarecrow and you see his mask in Arkham city while you see Bane literally in Arkham city as a side mission
I wish Scarecrow was recognised more as a good villain. Both he and Batman use fear against their enemies bit in very different ways. They're so similar yet so different. Even their last names rhyme. Crane and Wayne.
Scarecrow is acc my second favourite Batman Villain. I love that both him and Batman use fear against their enemies but only crane truly understands it
Riddler should have also been a with them, both Jason and him would know everything about Batman, as they studied him. So it would have been interesting if it ended up that way
@@Arkhamknight0 glowing eyes doesn’t make someone scary. In my opinion, he looks way too cartoonish compared to all the other villains, which only makes him look goofy.
And believe it or not that’s is Scarecrow’s Face He tried to surgically put back on what remained of it after Killer Croc messed him up in Arkham Asylum
Croc did some serious damage to Crane. He had most of his face bitten off (which is his mask btw, that’s is rotting skin you see), went blind in one eye and had his right leg permanently broken and he almost drowned. It was probably the most terrifying moment in his life and Killer Croc is terrifying, imagine being with him underwater. Crane also underwent a serious personality change after his near death experience
Wasn't some thugs discussing how it was his choice to mess up his face and not because of Crock? Need to play Knight again but i think i remember right.
@@Mr.Arcade10 The way i remember both of us are correct. Both thing is talked by the thugs. I guess Croc messed up his face and Scarecrow made it worse by surgery
"you've ingested enough toxin to drive 10 men insane! what-are you! why fight it, batman! you're as crazy as the rest of us! you need us more than we need you." - my favorite quote from Scarecrow in Arkham Asylum 😌
Asylum Scarecrow: I'll give Gotham nightmares by poisoning their tap water. Knight Scarecrow: I will cripple a third of this country, killing millions and mentally destroying thousands more just to torture Batman.
Low key my fav Batman villain. Arkham Knight was close to having the perfect Scarecrow I see. He really has the most potential to be a good nemesis for Batman and to just be phenomenal with a creative writer
The fact that Scarecrow was willing to inoculate all 15 eastern states of the U.S. just to torment Batman. Not even Joker has done something like this. The only Joker that I can think of that is more brutal than Arkham Knight Scarecrow is Injustice Joker. Where he tricked Superman into Killing his pregnant wife Lois which resulted in an Atomic Bomb destroying Metropoils, driving Supes insane, making him kill the Joker and become a bloodthirsty Dictator of the Planet who was willing to wipe out whole cities and invade other earths.
@@bilveytoman8125 EXACTLY DUDE! I think a lot of people even myself forgot how much of an absolute menace Scarecrow is, especially in Arkham Knight. Another Joker thats definitely worse would be the time when he gained Mr. Mxy's powers and just absolutely wreaked havoc
@@bilveytoman8125one joker thing that happened in Arkham tho is he killed a bunch of kindergarteners mutilated them and stitched random body parts together. The injustice one nuking a whole city is obviously worse but this is so fcuked up
Hardly. All Scarecrow in Arkham Knight does is talk and drone on about "the power of fear" instead of just showing us. Scarecrow in Arkham Asylum actually puts his money where his mouth is and reveals what fear actually is.
@@razgriz9146Bro, Scarecrow in knight faked Oracle's death to scare Batman. He also used fear to manipulate Gordon into shooting Batman. Not to mention when Batman needed to repair the Batmobile inside Cranes' toxine. I get that all "nightmare sessions" revolved around Joker but i think that Scarecrow did his job tbh
@@PannaCotta57 only 1 instance proves nothing. Especially given that Scarecrow ruins it by running his mouth the entire time. Not true at all. Commissioner Gordon shot Batman so that he could save Barbara Gordon from Scarecrow without arousing undue suspicion. Scarecrow literally flat-out states that he didn't want Batman to be killed, nevermind shot, and tries to kill Barbara Gordon as punishment. Inconsequential and irrelevant. That wasn't planned by Scarecrow and was little more than pure coincidence, if anything else. Nothing even happens to Batman outside of Joker gaining more control over his mind (which was definitely not part of Scarecrow's plan, I might add). Either way, Scarecrow was a vastly more stellar act in Arkham Asylum.
@@razgriz9146 You’re not giving Knight Scarecrow enough credit. He took over Gotham and did something no other rouge’s gallery did; reveal Batman true identity. And him making Batman watch Barbara’s “suicide” was really f’ed up
@@snackeater4990 no he didn't. The Arkham Knight, Deathstroke and their militia were the ones who seized Gotham City. All Scarecrow did was sabotage them with his constant insistence that Batman be spared so that he could break him throughout the course of the game (which is really just a pathetic excuse for him to wreak petulant vengeance upon Batman for what happened to him in Arkham Asylum). If not for Scarecrow and his incessant babbling, Batman would've been defeated.
Can we just say for a second tho crane escaping crock is just so unbelievable 😂you mean this sack of bones in arkham asylum survived crocks monstrous self
@@bread5384 he'd have had to inject him with the fear toxin, through his syringes, crocks skin can stop bullets I doubt some flimsy ass medical syringes are getting into his skin
@Spider Man Trilogy Aspect Ratios this doesn't make much sense seeing as if it would have affected croc by simply being by him it would have also affected batman, but didn't
@Spider Man Trilogy Aspect Ratios at no point in arkham asylum did scarecrow inject batman with fear toxin and it didn't affect him, that happens in knight, YEARS, down the line in knight, this was batman first game, and if you go back you'll see, each time batmans injected he gets brought to the knightmare realm, he fights his way out, but still, he's not immune to the fear toxin in asylum, your reasoning is again flawed
@Spider Man Trilogy Aspect Ratios again your wrong, batman has him by the throat, he gets injected and then goes back into a nightmare state, you again, very clearly don't remember asylum
Bro literally all characters in arkham knight are perfect in comparison to other versions of themselves in other games or any animated or live action thing And my favourite is arkham knight/ red hood 🖤🖤🖤🖤
I’d say most are better in BTAS, Freeze, Harley, Mad Hatter, Man Bat, Two-Face, Penguin, are all better imo. Joker and Riddler are practically the same which makes sense cause of how inspired they were by BTAS.
Honestly they were both godly tier but for me arkham knight takes the cake mainly because he is so badass but i love asylum scarecrow as well mainly because he sets a terrifying tone in asylum when you encounter him
The main thing about Asylum one is that he's just scarier and his presence is more accentuated compared to Knight, where at one point he's overshadowed by Arkham Knight and feels like some bored guy making empty threats over the intercom.
The Arkham Knight, legit I did see Scarecrow as a good replacement of Joker. But he needs to be used more often because people don't understand, His fear toxin could be used to straight up destroy all the Heroes if they don't know how to conquer it. Imagine Batman wasn't alive and Scarecrow was alive and used his gas. He could legit destroy The Justice League. Like for Green Lantern, that fear gas is his weakness since it is the opposite of Hope. Villains could also fall under Scarecrow's Fear Toxin. Joker is afraid of being forgotten Penguin is afraid of losing his worth Raz Ghoul is afraid of facing death and etc... Plus, almost every Villain attempts to use Scarecrow's Fear Toxin and it had been used a lot. Not even joking about that cause I've seen references just like this. Scarecrow #1 Villain A Villain That Can't Be Forgotten. Even For A Moment. His Work Still Spreads. In Death, People Will Always Fear Scarecrow's Creation. The Fear Toxin. "At The End of Fear, Oblivion." "How Many Lives Would You Destroy In Pursuit Of What You Call, Justice." -Scarecrow
@@bigdawgc Yeah the tank was overused but origins had a great idea with black mask they didn’t need joker and the map was ass. Crossing that bridge was annoying the boss battles were amazing but the gameplay was Arkham city copy pasted. Arkham knight has the best gameplay, the better story, a goat villain. Origins is an amazing game but calling it peak Arkham is such a stretch but if u like origins that’s ur choice I can’t change that but I respect it
@@Khans4allI feel like I'd enjoy arkham knight much more if scarecrow felt like the actual villain, Jason was just not it for me, his design was awesome but he wasn't threatening at all, scarecrow is so much cooler, otherwise a good game
Scarecrow: “Batman you better lawyer up asshole cause I’m not coming back for 30% I’m coming back for everything” Batman in Arkham knight: “oohhhh that’s what you meant”
I love the look from asylum better it’s very charming and Tim Burton Esque however the knight design is FAR better, I love Arkham Knight they made my two favorite Gotham characters the main antagonists
at the same time having the face of Killer Croc devoured, allying with Batman's former Robin to build an army and drown millions of people in a psychoactive toxin, it changes your daily life
The Scariest part to me about Scarecrow from knight is the fact that after killer croc ripped parts of his face off scarecrow LITERALLY SEWED HIS MASK ON THE REMAINS OF HIS FACE
Remember croc did dl a number on him amd he was unpresent in city and in the timeline knight happens a long time after asylum i believe it was like year 16 or 18
Some people may say that Joker is Batman’s most dangerous Arkham enemy But Scarecrow was the only Villain to actually beat Batman (Sure he did get knocked out in the end but he still succeeded in defeating Batman)
The voice change is interesting. Also how did he survive Croc and is that why his face is genuinely destroyed in Knight while in asylum was just a mask??
