A dog pissing on the carpet? I never thougth of that analogy until I saw this, but it's 100% true. Teachers, social workers, cops, judges, they're all the same. At some point they're going to say "I have no idea what to do anymore."
In this first Scared Straight series...this one had the best impact..these men in this Lifer Group are some of the most hard core real genuine dudes I ever seen in my life...this video should be watched by every dumb ass who wants to think they are bad..not really...these guys were like soldiers of the prison world...I first watched this when I was in high school....never forgot it...the man..Ali..the one with the one eye....I mean this guy was real...I personally never got steered into bad things or messed with the law...but when I was younger I had many situations where I could've gone astray, you know.....I'm in my 50s now...I gotta work...take care of business...family.. responsibility...all that crime..shit is just being lost and angry..not the way my friends...this documentary should have received awards for humanitarian in its own way...even though all the inmates in the Lifer Club had their story...their own reasons of being incarcerated...they are men....I would hang out with any of them at a table because they were real....they had a street coolness to them and they are the real tough guys.. greatest documentary on prison life...I recommend this to anyone seeking the voices of prison life....
"YOU SMILIN AT ME AGAIN.... I'LL KNOCK YOU IN THE MOTHAFUC'N MOUF WITH THIS SHOE.. YOU SMILIN AT ME....." LOL.. Look at the size of the boot that he calls a shoe 00:33
FYI: The young Angelo Speziale". that "Joe the convict" called up to read the newspaper article, was CONVICTED & SENTRENCED (in 2010) to 25 years to LIFE, for a VERY cold case from 1982!!! He raped and murdered his 19 year old next door neighbor, stabbing her in the back with a kitchen knife! If you go to Wikipedia, u can "read ALL about it"! The murder took place 4 years after this film. In 2007, his arrest for shop-lifting led to giving a DNA sample; it matched DNA he left on the scene!
Wait a minute, the guy's damaged eye opened up a little bit! Seems like he still has an eyeball, but it must've been seriously damaged instead of gone.
they need to do this shit in every city, town, country, state, school, EVERYWHERE. and maybe just MAYBE crime rates would be lowered and there will be somewhat better ppl.
Am I the only person that couldnt help but laugh the first time they watched the original documentary? Only in Jersey can you get away with some shit like this, you dont live in Jersey you survive it
Lil Angelo actually turned into Peter Falk in his later years. "Worst ting I did was rob dat store ova dere. I gout cought." Every bit of R-E-S-P-E-C-T these guys deserve... True stand-up guys who lived long enuff to know they fukked their lives up. Notice they blame no one but themselves. Very unlike today.
im glad i wasnt there cause i would have started laughing ,then when their yelling shit at me i would probably start laughing more they would have thrown my shoes and kicked me out hehe
OMG!! I JUST noticed something. U guys know the boy, with the long black hair who robs off the trains & smirks all the time-- the one Dominic told "I talked to you nice, right?" U know, , the guy whose shoe the "One-Eyed" man, Ali, threw it up against the wall? ANYway, when "ONE-EYE" is lifting his shirt, & showing his battle scars, LOOK at "The Smirker's" LEFT ARM, at 3:25! OMG-- WHAT on EARTH are those marks? R U guys thinking what I'M thinking?
@MissNaminette thats not what those numbers mean there numbers are what number u get when ur in prison its just ur prison number they could have got 2 years for drug trafficing and still have any of those numbers
