"i´m here for murder, kidnapping, robbery, armed robbery, conspiracy, breakin´ a dudes jaw and breakin´ his fuckin' woman's both her goddamn arms!..." I like him.
I really love him!! He was so passionate about helping the youth. He actually got out and turned his life around. God bless him and the youth he helped.
I agree this is how it should be now. Kids now have the guards right there to protect them and they know it and talk shit. Ali is so real so Angry. I can feel it when he talks. I don't think there will ever be a better group then this one.
THIS version of “Scared Straight” is the VERY best one. These guys look REAL. Their anger is REAL. What they’re saying is REAL. This does not come off like “ok, let’s put on a show for these kids and hope they change”.
@Willie Gordon They are literally there to teach those kids, kids who idolize people like them, not to be like them, or else they'll throw their lives away just like they had done themselves. This is the very antithesis of hypocrisy.
What you can hear in his voice is pure anger and hate. He was a very violent man, but extremely passionate. He even says after the reunion that he hasn't got the same resounding voice he once had because he is at peace with his past. He is no longer that man. But wow, did it make an impact or what?
Ali has been released for good conduct, he’s a free man now, and is a practising Muslim, I’m not sure if he’s still alive or not but there’s one documentary showing him with these kids years later and Ali said he’ll never going to get back inside ever again, he is peaceful and abide to the teaching of Islam.
@@sepultura7771 1990s prison reforms. Maximum prisons had become overpopulated. More lifers and death row inmates had their sentences commuted and were now eligible for the parole board review. Rahway prison was also sued for human rights violations and oversight committee recommended drastic changes.
I was headed that direction of prison when i was young. I remember i saw scared straight and Ali got me good. This guy was for real. He had that anger and hate of what was going on in his life. He got to me real good. If your alive Ali thank u and may God Bless your life forever.
We're in a very good time in history honestly, we think there's more violence then back then but it's simply televised and shared online more. It was a lot worse back then
1:45 Looked like he was boring her. That's disrespectful putting your arm on chair that signals you're getting bored by someone who's giving you warnings and trying to save your bad ass from very hard times in prison.
he told the truth. its ashame people sometimes don't realize this stuff until the hit jail and cant ever get out.. people outside tell u to have sex, sale drugs, and join gangs, ignorances, and stupidity, but they never think or tell u the real consequences
Discuss street from that time was a lot more impactand they went straight through them where they didn't know how to listen at that time, there needs to be more people like him so the youth can listen to more.
YOUNG ppl: Whomever is watching this clip, "THINK", "BEFORE" you leap/act. Play, "The WHOLE", Tape. There's a much BIGGER PICTURE than WHAT you THINK, and can see, in that tape. ONLY 3 options: 1-Live "YOUR BEST" Life. Never mind nobody elses life. DON'T WORRY 'bout it. 2-Prison. 3-⚰ That's it. END Story. That's all. That's all you get .
“From now on. Who knows what that means? Forever till the day I die. That means I’m never hit the streets no more.” That’s not true. He was seen as a free man in the 20 Years Later update.
He was in life parole and likely had no hope of realistically being sprung (as you have to in order not go insane). He was on the program as a volunteer and likely was trying to do some good.
Terminator or Terminator 2 Scared skraight or scared skraight 99 both entertaining toxic masculinity and toxic sensitivity both bad the Most High is and will always be paramount
0:40 That was me at 16yo. Im in prison now doing Life because this program Gave me PTSD, it didnt work . I ended up murdering a praying mantis and got 50yrs to life.
Donnie Yen Jedi he last appeared in the 1998 show, and I haven't really tried to find out if he is still alive, but he'd be 73+ by now so it's possible that he is still living.
